Psalms 86

¹ God, hear me and answer me, because I dey helpless and weak.

² Save me from death, because I dey loyal to you; save me, because I be your servant and I trust you.

³ You be my God, so dey merciful to me; I dey pray to you all day.

⁴ O Lord, make your servant happy, because my prayer dey go up to you.

⁵ You dey good to us and you dey forgive, you dey love those wey dey pray to you.

⁶ LORD, hear my prayer; make you hear as I dey cry for help.

⁷ I dey call you when I dey for trouble, because you dey answer my prayer.

⁸ No god be like you, O LORD, no one don do wetin you don do.

⁹ All the nation wey you create go come bow down to you, dem go praise your greatness.

¹⁰ You dey mighty and you dey do wonderful things; na you alone be God.

¹¹ LORD, teach me wetin you want make I do, and I go obey you faithfully; teach me to serve you totally.

¹² I go praise you with all my heart O LORD my GOD; I go talk about your greatness forever.

¹³ Your love dey great to me; you don save me from grave.

¹⁴ People wey dey proud dey come against me, O God; and wicked gang dey try kill me - people wey no dey hear you.

¹⁵ But O Lord, you dey merciful and you be loving God, you dey patient always, and kind and faithful always.

¹⁶ Turn to me make you have mercy on me; come give me strength and save me, because I dey serve you the way my mama dey serve you.

¹⁷ Make you show me sign of your goodness, LORD; shame go catch those wey hate me when dem see say you don give me comfort and help.
