Psalms 85

¹ LORD, you don dey merciful to your land; you don make Israel prosper again.

² You don forgive your people sin and you don forgive wetin dem do wrong.

³ You stop to dey vex with me and you hold back your terrible anger.

⁴ Make you bring us back, O God our savior, and stop to dey vex with us

⁵ Shey you go dey vex with us forever? Shey your anger no go ever stop?

⁶ Make us strong again, and we go praise you.

⁷ O LORD, make you show us your love, and give us your help wey dey save.

⁸ I dey listen to wetin the LORD God dey talk; he promise us peace, we wey be him own people, if we no go back to our foolish way.

⁹ For sure, he dey ready to save those wey honor him, and him presence wey dey save go remain for our land.

¹⁰ Love and faithfulness go meet; righteousness and peace go hug each other.

¹¹ Human loyalty go reach up from earth, and God righteousness go look down from heaven.

¹² God go prosper us, and our land go produce harvest wey dey rich.

¹³ Righteousness go dey for front of the LORD and e go prepare way for him.
