Psalms 82

¹ God na the judge in the heavenly council; for the assembly of gods he dey give him decision say:

² “Make una stop to dey judge in bad way; make una no dey partial to the wicked!

³ Make una defend the rights wey the poor and orphans get; dey good to those wey dey in need and the helpless.

⁴ Save them from power of evil people.

⁵ “Una dey ignorant! Una stupid! Una don corrupt completely, and justice don disappear from this world.

⁶ I talk say, ‘Una be gods, una be children of the Most High.’

⁷ But una go die like ordinary human being; una life go end like that of any prince.”

⁸ O God, make you come rule the world; all the nations na your own.
