Psalms 8

¹ O LORD, our God, dem dey see your greatness all over the world; your praise dey reach heaven;

² Na children and small pikin dey sing am. You dey safe from your enemies; you dey stop anybody wey oppose you.

³ When I dey look sky wey you don make, and the moon and stars wey you create.

⁴ I con dey wonder say, “Why people dey important to you reach like that? Why you dey even think about them? Why you dey care for human being? Why you dey even notice them?

⁵ But you make them lesser to yourself only, you use glory and honor crown them.

⁶ You turn them to ruler on top all the things wey you don make; you put them on top everything wey you create:

⁷ sheep and cattle, and wild animals too;

⁸ birds and fish with all the creatures wey dey inside sea.

⁹ O LORD, our God, dem dey see your greatness all over the world.
