Psalms 79
O God, the idol worshiper don attack your land. Dem don disrespect your holy Temple and dem don destroy Jerusalem.
Dem leave the body of your people for vulture, the body of your servant for wild animal to eat.
Dem shed your people blood like say na water; blood dey flow like water all around Jerusalem, and nobody remain wey go bury the dead body.
The nation wey dey around us dey insult us; dem dey laugh us and mock us.
LORD, you go dey vex for us forever? Shey your anger go continue to dey burn like fire?
Turn your anger on top nation wey no dey worship you, on top people wey no dey pray to you.
Because dem don kill your people; dem don destroy your country.
No punish us for sin wey our ancestor commit. Have mercy on us now wey we don lose hope.
Help us, O God, make you save us; make you save us and forgive our sin for your honor sake.
Why the nation go dey ask us say, Where your God dey? Make you let us see as you punish nation wey dey shed blood of your servants.
Make you hear the prisoner pain, and free those wey wan die with your power.
God, pay the other nation back seven time for all the insult wey dem don throw at you.
Then we, your people, the sheep of your flock go thank you forever and praise you for all time to come.
