Psalms 75

¹ We give you thanks, O God, we give you thanks! We talk about how great you be and we dey talk of the wonderful things wey you don do.

² God talk say, “I don set time for judgement, and I go judge am well.

³ Though every creature dey shake and even the earth dey shake, I go keep the foundation strong.

⁴ I tell the wicked make dem no dey use strong-head;

⁵ I tell them make dem no brag again.’’

⁶ Judgement no dey come from east or west, from north or south;

⁷ Na God be the judge, wey dey punish some and wey dey free others.

⁸ God dey hold cup for him hand, he pour am out, and all the wicked drink am; dem finish am to the last drop.

⁹ But I no go stop to dey talk of the God of Jacob or to dey sing praise to him.

¹⁰ Him go break the power of the wicked, but the power of the righteous go increase.
