¹ ỌLỌRUN, iwọ li awa fi ọpẹ fun, iwọ li awa fi ọpẹ fun nitori orukọ rẹ sunmọ itosi, iṣẹ iyanu rẹ fi hàn.

¹ Unto thee, O God, do we give thanks, unto thee do we give thanks: for that thy name is near thy wondrous works declare.

² Nigbati akokò mi ba de, emi o fi otitọ ṣe idajọ.

² When I shall receive the congregation I will judge uprightly.

³ Aiye ati gbogbo awọn ti ngbe inu rẹ̀ warìri: emi li o rù ọwọ̀n rẹ̀.

³ The earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved: I bear up the pillars of it. Selah.

⁴ Emi wi fun awọn agberaga pe, Ẹ máṣe gbéraga mọ́: ati fun awọn enia buburu pe, Ẹ máṣe gbé iwo nì soke.

⁴ I said unto the fools, Deal not foolishly: and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn:

⁵ Ẹ máṣe gbé iwo nyin ga: ẹ máṣe fi ọrùn lile sọ̀rọ.

⁵ Lift not up your horn on high: speak not with a stiff neck.

⁶ Nitori ti igbega kò ti ìla-õrùn wá, tabi ni ìwọ-õrùn, bẹ̃ni kì iṣe lati gusu wá.

⁶ For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.

⁷ Ṣugbọn Ọlọrun li onidajọ: o sọ ọkan kalẹ, o gbé ẹlomiran leke.

⁷ But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.

⁸ Nitoripe li ọwọ Oluwa li ago kan wà, ọti-waini na si pọ́n: o kún fun àdalu: o si dà jade ninu rẹ̀; ṣugbọn gèdẹgẹdẹ rẹ̀, gbogbo awọn enia buburu aiye ni yio fun u li afun-mu.

⁸ For in the hand of the LORD there is a cup, and the wine is red; it is full of mixture; and he poureth out of the same: but the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall wring them out, and drink them.

⁹ Ṣugbọn emi o ma sọ titi lai, emi o ma kọrin iyìn si Ọlọrun Jakobu.

⁹ But I will declare for ever; I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.

¹⁰ Gbogbo iwo awọn enia buburu li emi o ke kuro; ṣugbọn iwo awọn olododo li emi o gbé soke.

¹⁰ All the horns of the wicked also will I cut off; but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.
