Psalms 64

¹ I dey for trouble, God - make you hear my prayer! I dey fear my enemy - save my life

² Make you protect me from plan of the wicked, from crowd of evil people.

³ Dem sharpen their tongue like sword and dem dey throw evil word like arrow.

⁴ Dem dey fast to dey spread shameless lies; dem dey destroy good people with stupid action.

⁵ Dem dey encourage each other in their evil plan; dem dey talk about where dem go put their trap. Dem talk say, “Nobody fit see them.”

⁶ Dem make evil plan and dem talk say, “We don plan correct crime.” Human being heart and mind na secret.

⁷ But God shoot him arrow at them, and dem wound.

⁸ Him go destroy them because of those word; everybody wey see am go shake their head.

⁹ All of them go fear; dem go think about wetin God don do and talk about him action.

¹⁰ All the people wey dey righteous go rejoice because of wetin God don do. Dem go find safety in him; every good people go praise him.
