Psalms 51
1 Get mercy on me, O God, because of your love wey dey constant. Because na your great mercy wipe away my sin.
2 Wash my evil away and clean me from my sin.
3 I dey accept my fault; and I dey always dey at alert of my sin.
4 I don sin against you - na only against you - and I don do wetin you consider say na evil. So you dey right to judge me; you dey right to condemn me.
5 I don dey do evil since the day dem born me; since that time I dey inside belle, I don dey sin.
6 Wetin you want na sincerity and truth; make my mind dey full of your wisdom.
7 Remove my sin, and I go dey clean; wash me, and I go white pass snow.
8 Make I hear the sound of joy and gladness; even as you don crush me and break me, I go happy once again.
9 Close your eyes to my sin and wipe all my evil commot.
10 O God, make you create pure heart in me, and put new and humble spirit inside me.
11 No drive me commot for where you dey; no take your holy spirit from me.
12 Give me that joy wey come from your salvation again, and make me ready to dey obey you.
13 I go con teach sinner your commands, and dem go turn back to you.
14 Make you pardon my life, O God, and save me, and I go happy to dey talk of your righteousness.
15 Help me to dey speak, Lord, and I go praise you.
16 I for give you sacrifice, but you no want am; you no dey happy with burnt offering.
17 My sacrifice na humble spirit, O God; you no go reject heart wey dey humble and dey repent.
18 O God, make you dey kind to Zion and help am; make you rebuild the wall of Jerusalem.
19 Then you go dey happy with proper sacrifice and our burnt offering; and we go sacrifice bull on top your altar.
