Zion, the mountain of God, dey high and beautiful; the city of the great king dey bring joy to the world.

God don show say safety dey for where him dey inside the tower of the city.

The kings gather together and dem come attack Mount Zion.

But when dem see am, dem con dey surprised; dem con fear and dem run away.

For there fear and pain catch them, like woman wey wan born pikin,

like ship wey dey waka around for terrible storm.

We don hear wetin God don do, and now we don see am for the city of our God, the LORD Almighty; him go keep the city safe forever.

For your temple, O God, we dey think of your constant love.

People for everywhere dey praise you, and you dey popular throughout the earth. You dey rule with justice;

make the people of Zion dey glad! You dey give judgement wey dey right; make joy dey for city of Judah!

People of God, make una waka round Zion and count the tower;

make una notice the wall and check the tower so that una go fit tell the next generation:

“This God na God forever and ever; him go lead us for all time to come.”
