Psalms 37
1 No worry about the wicked; no dey jealous those wey dey do wrong.
2 Dem go soon disappear like grass wey dry up; dem go die like plant wey dey spoil.
3 Make you trust God and do good; live for the land make you dey safe.
4 Find your happiness in God, and him go give you your heart desire.
5 Give yourself to God; trust am, and him go help you;
6 him go make your righteousness shine like afternoon sun.
7 Dey patient and wait make God act; no worry about those wey dey prosper or those wey dey succeed in their evil plans.
8 No allow worry or anger; na only trouble e go lead to.
9 Those wey dey trust in the LORD go take over the land, but him go drive out the wicked.
10 Soon the wicked go disappear; you fit look for them, but you no go find them;
11 but the humble go take over the land and enjoy peace and prosperity.
12 The wicked dey plan against good people and look at them with hate.
13 But God dey laugh at wicked people, because he know say dem go soon perish.
14 The wicked commot their sword and bend their bow to kill the poor and those wey dey in need, and to slaughter those wey dey do right thing;
15 but na their own sword go kill them, and their bow go break.
16 The small thing wey belong to good person get value pass the wealth wey all wicked get,
17 because God go take away the strength of the wicked but protect those wey dey good.
18 God dey take care of those wey dey obey him, and the land go be their own forever.
19 Dem no go suffer when time dey bad; dem go get enough for time when food no plenty in the land.
20 But the wicked go die; the enemy of God go disappear like wild flower; dem go disappear like smoke.
21 The wicked dey borrow and dem no dey pay back, but good people dey kind with their gift.
22 Those wey God bless go take over the land, but him go drive out those wey him curse.
23 God dey guide people in the way dem suppose go and protect those wey please him.
24 If dem fall, dem no go stay down, because God go help them up.
25 I don old now; I don live for long time, but I never see say God abandon good people or allow their children dey beg for food.
26 For every time dem dey give freely and dem dey borrow others, and na blessing their children be.
27 Make una turn from evil and do good, and una descendants go live in the land;
28 because God love wetin dey right and him no dey abandon him faithful people. Him go protect them forever, but dem go drive out descendant of the wicked.
29 The righteous go take over the land and live in am forever.
30 The word of good people dey wise, and dem dey good always.
31 Dem dey keep the law of God for their heart and dem no dey leave am.
32 Wicked people dey watch good people and try kill them;
33 but God no go abandon them to power of their enemy or allow them get blame when dem dey court.
34 Make una put una hope in God and obey him command; him go honor una with the land, and una go see how him go drive out the wicked.
35 I know one person wey wicked before; he dey on top everyone like cedar of Lebanon;
36 but later I pass by, and him no dey there again; I look for him, but I no fit find him.
37 Make una notice good people, check the righteous; peaceful people dey get descendant.
38 but sinners dey perish completely, and their descendant dey wipe out.
39 The LORD dey save the righteous and him they protect them for time of trouble.
40 Him dey help them and rescue them; he dey save them from the wicked, because dem dey go to him for protection.
