Psalms 34

¹ I go dey always thank the LORD; I no go ever stop to dey praise him.

² I go praise him for wetin him don do; make all wey dey oppressed listen and make dem happy.

³ Make una proclaim greatness of the LORD with me; make we praise him name together.

⁴ I dey pray to the LORD, and him dey answer me; he free me from everything I dey fear.

⁵ Those wey dey oppressed look to him and dem dey happy; dem no go ever dey disappointed.

⁶ The helpless dey call him, and he dey answer them; him dey save them from all their trouble.

⁷ Him angel dey guard those wey dey honor the LORD, and e dey rescue them from danger.

⁸ Make you find out how good the LORD be by yourself. Those wey dey get safety with him dey happy.

⁹ All him people, make una honor the LORD; those wey obey him get all the things wey dem need.

¹⁰ Even lion dey hungry as food no dey, but those wey obey the LORD no go lack anything.

¹¹ My young friends make una come listen to me, and I go teach una to honor the LORD.

¹² Shey you go like to enjoy life? Shey you want long life and happiness?

¹³ Then make you stop to dey speak evil and tell lies.

¹⁴ Make you turn away from evil and do good; make you fight for peace with all your heart.

¹⁵ The LORD dey watch over him righteous and he dey listen as dem dey cry;

¹⁶ but he dey go against those wey dey do evil, so that when dem dey lie him go forget them.

¹⁷ The righteous dey call on the LORD, and him dey listen; he dey save them from trouble

¹⁸ God dey near to those wey dey discouraged; he dey save those wey don lose hope.

¹⁹ Good people dey suffer many trouble, but God dey save them from all of am;

²⁰ God dey keep them safe completely; no bone don break for their body.

²¹ Evil go kill the wicked; God go punish those wey hate the righteous.

²² God go save him people; him go protect and spare those wey come to him.
