Psalms 2

¹ Why nations dey plan riot? Why people dey make useless plan?

² Their Kings dey rebel, their rulers dey plan together against the Lord and against the King wey him chose.

³ Dem talk say, “Make we free ourselves from their rule, make we throway their control”.

⁴ God dey laugh on top Him throne for heaven, and he dey make fun of their weak plan.

⁵ Then He use vex warn them and scare them with him anger.

⁶ He talk say, “I don put my king on top Zion, my holy hill.”

⁷ The King talk say, “I go announce wetin the LORD don declare. He tell me say: You be my son; today, I don turn your father.

⁸ Ask, and I go give you all the nations; all the earth go be your own.

⁹ You go break them with iron stick; you go scatter them to pieces like clay pot.’”

¹⁰ Now make una listen to my warning, you kings; make una learn this lesson, una rulers of the world:

¹¹ Make una serve the Lord with fear;

¹² tremble and bow down to him; or else him go vex quick, and una go just die. Those wey go meet him for protection na happy people.
