Psalms 135
1 Praise the LORD! Praise him name, una wey be servant of the LORD,
2 wey dey stand for house of the LORD, for Temple of our God.
3 Praise the LORD, because he dey good; sing praise to him name, because he dey kind.
4 He choose Jacob for himself, and choose the people of Israel for him own.
5 I know say our LORD dey great, he great pass other gods.
6 He dey do anything wey him want for heaven and earth, for sea and for depth below.
7 He dey bring storm cloud from end of the earth; he make lightning for storm, and he bring wind out from him storeroom.
8 He kill all firstborn of people and animal for Egypt.
9 Na for there he perform miracle and wonder to punish the king and all him official.
10 He destroy plenty nation and kill powerful king.
11 Sihon, king of the Amorites, Og, king of Bashan, and all the king for Canaan.
12 He give their land to him people; he give them to Israel.
13 LORD, dem go always dey talk about your name; all generation go remember you.
14 The LORD go defend him people; him go pity him servant.
15 Na silver and gold dem use make the gods of the nation; na human being hand form am.
16 Dem get mouth but dem no fit talk, and eye, but dem no fit see.
17 Dem get ear, but dem no fit hear; dem no even fit breathe.
18 Make everybody wey make am and get trust in am become the idol wey dem make.
19 Praise the LORD, people of Israel; praise him, una wey be priest of God.
20 Praise the LORD, una Levites; praise him, all of una wey dey worship him!
21 Praise the LORD for Zion, for Jerusalem, for him home. Praise the LORD!
