Wetin for don happen to us If to say the LORD no dey for our side when our enemy attack us,
Dem for don swallow us alive as dem dey vex with us;
the flood for don carry us away, the water for don cover us,
wicked people for don do like water wey dey rise reach our mouth, wey for don kill us.
Make we thank the LORD, wey no allow our enemy destroy us.
We don escape like bird from hunter trap; the trap don break, and we don free!
Our help dey come from the LORD, wey make heaven and earth.
