Psalms 12

¹ Help us, O LORD: No good person remain; we no fit find any honest person.

² All of them dey lie to each other, dem dey deceive each other with sweet word.

³ O LORD, silent those tongue wey dey talk sweet things! Close those mouth wey dey boast say,

⁴ ‘’We dey get wetin we want with our word. We go talk wetin we want, and nobody go fit stop us.’’

⁵ God talk say, ‘’But now I go come because dem dey oppress the poor and the ones wey dem treat bad dey shout in pain. I go give them the security wey dem dey find.’’

⁶ You fit trust the promise of God; dem be original like silver wey dem purify inside fire seven times.

⁷ The wicked dey everywhere, and everybody dey praise wetin be evil.

⁸ O LORD, make you keep us safe always, and keep us from that kind people.
