8 He dey keep him covenant forever, him promise dey for thousands generation.
9 Him go keep the agreement wey him make with Abraham and him promise to Isaac.
10 The LORD make covenant wey go last forever with Jacob.
11 Him talk say, him go give una the land of Canaan, na una go own am.
12 God people no plenty, na stranger dem be for land of Canaan.
13 Dem waka round from one country to another, from one kingdom to another.
14 God no let anyone oppress them; he been warn the kings to protect them.
15 Make una no wound my servants wey I don choose; make una no touch my prophets.
16 The LORD send hunger to their country and take away all their food from them.
17 But he send one man ahead of them, Joseph wey dem sell like slave.
18 Dem put chain for him leg, and iron collar for him neck,
19 until wetin him don talk come true. The word of God prove say him dey right.
20 Then the king of Egypt talk say make dem release him; the ruler of nation set am free.
21 He put am in charge of him government and make am ruler on top the land,
22 with power on top king officials and authority to dey tell him adviser wetin to do.
23 Then Jacob con go Egypt and settle for that country.
24 God give him people plenty children and he make them strong pass their enemy.
25 He make the Egyptian hate him people and dem make plan against him servant.
26 Naso God send him servant Moses, and Aaron, wey him don choose.
27 Dem do mighty work of God and perform miracle in Egypt.
28 God con send darkness on top the country, but the Egyptians no gree obey him command.
29 He turn their river to blood and kill all their fish.
30 Frog take over their country; even the palace dey full of them.
31 God command say make flies and gnat fly throughout the country.
32 Him send hail and lightning on top their land instead of rain;
33 Him spoil their grapevine and fig tree and him break down all the trees.
34 He command and locust come out, the locust plenty so tey dem no fit count am;
35 Dem chop all the plant wey dey the land; dem chop all their crop.
36 He kill all the firstborn son wey dey all the family of Egypt.
37 He con lead the Israelite out; dem carry silver and gold, and all of them dey healthy and strong.
38 The Egyptian dey fear them and dem happy as dem leave.
39 God put cloud on top him people and fire for night to give them light.
40 Dem ask, and he send them bird; he give them food from heaven make dem belleful.
41 He open rock and water rush out, wey con flow through desert like river.
42 He remember him holy promise to him servant Abraham.
43 Naso he lead him people out, and dem sing and shout for joy.
44 He give them other people land and he allow them take over their fields,
45 so that him people go fit obey him law and keep all him command. Praise the LORD!
