²⁷ Na family of Amram, Izhar, Hebron, Uzziel be Kohath family. Dem be Kohathite family group.

²⁹ Dem say make dem camp for south side of the Tent,

³⁰ and Elizaphan, son of Uzziel na their leader.

³¹ Na them dey take care of Covenant Box, the table, the lampstand, the altars, the equipment wey priest dey use for Holy Place, and the curtain wey dey entrance of Most Holy Place. Na them dey take care of all these items.

³² The Levites leader na Eleazar, son of Aaron the priest. Na him dey in charge of those wey dey work for Holy Place.

³⁹ The total number of Levite males wey don reach one month old or don old pass, wey Moses count by family as God don command, na 22,000.

⁴¹ God tell Moses, “All of Israel firstborn son na my own. So, make you register every male firstborn of Israelite by name on a list, wey don reach one month old or don old pass. But in place of them, I dey make all Levites my own! I be the LORD! I go also take animals from Levites, instead make I take all firstborn from other people of Israel.”
