¹ God give Moses

² the rules wey people of Israel go dey follow when dem reach the land wey he dey take them.

³ Una fit present bull, ram, sheep, or goat to God for burnt offering or for sacrifice to fulfill vow or for free will offering or for regular offering when una dey celebrate religious festival; the smell of these food offering dey please God.

⁵ Any person wey present goat or sheep to God for burnt offering go bring one kilogram of flour wey dem mix with one liter of olive oil as grain offering join each animal, together with one liter of wine.

⁶ When dem offer ram, make dem present two kilogram of flour wey dem mix with 1.5 liter of olive oil for grain offering,

⁷ together with 1.5 liter of wine. The smell of the sacrifice dey please God.

⁸ When dem offer bull to God for burnt offering or for sacrifice to fulfil vow or for fellowship offering,

⁹ make dem present three kilograms of flour wey dem mix with two liters of olive oil for grain offering,

¹⁰ together with two liters of wine. The smell of the food offering dey please God.

¹¹ Na wetin dem go dey offer with each bull, ram, sheep, or goat be that.

¹² When dem dey offer more than one animal, make dem increase the size of offering wey dem go offer with am.

¹³ Make all Israelites do am when dem dey present food offering, a smell wey dey please God.

¹⁴ And for any time, if foreigners wey dey live among una make a food offering, a smell wey dey please God, make dem follow the same rules.

¹⁵ For all time to come, na the same rules dey for una and the foreigners wey dey live among una. Una and them be same for God sight,

¹⁶ na the same law dey for una and for them.

¹⁷ God give Moses

¹⁸ the regulations wey follow for people of Israel to dey follow for the land wey he dey give to them.

¹⁹ When una eat any of the food wey una produce there, make una keep some of am for special contribution to God.

²⁰ When una bake bread, make una present the first loaf wey una make from first the corn to God for special contribution. Make una dey present am the same way una dey present special contribution from the corn wey una harvest.

²¹ For all time to come, make una dey give God this special gift from the bread wey una bake.

²² But, suppose say person no keep these rules wey God don give Moses when he no know.

²³ And suppose say for future, the community no do everything wey God don command through Moses.

²⁴ If the mistake happen because the community no know, make dem offer bull for burnt offering, a smell wey dey please God, with grain offering and wine offering wey dey proper. Make dem also offer one male goat for sin offering.

²⁵ The priest go perform purification ritual for the community, and dem go get forgiveness, because dem no know say na mistake and dem bring their sin offering for food offering to God.

²⁶ The community of Israel and foreigners wey dey live among them go get forgiveness, because na every one of them be part of the mistake.

²⁷ If any person commit sin when he no know, make he offer one-year-old female goat for sin offering.

²⁸ The priest go perform purification ritual for the person for him sin for altar, and he go dey clean from him sin.

²⁹ Na the same rules dey for every person wey commit sin when he no know, whether na Israelites or foreigner wey dey live with them.

³⁰ But any person wey sin and know say he dey do wrong thing, whether he be Israelite or foreigner, he don rebel against God, make dem kill am,

³¹ because he don reject wetin God talk and he don break one of him command. Na him cause him own death.

³² When Israelites still dey wilderness, dem find a man wey dey gather firewood on Sabbath.

³³ Dem take him to Moses, Aaron, and the community,

³⁴ and dem guard him, because dem no know wetin dem go do with him.

³⁵ God come tell Moses say, “Make una kill the man; make the community stone him to death outside camp.”

³⁶ Naso the community take him outside camp and stone am to death, as God don command.

³⁷ God command Moses

³⁸ make he tell people of Israel say: “Make tassels for corner of una cloth and put blue cord on each tassel. Make una dey do am for all time to come.

³⁹ The tassel go serve as reminder, each time una see them una go remember my commands and obey them; then una no go turn away from me and begin dey follow una wishes and desires.

⁴⁰ The tassel go remind una to keep all my commands, and una go belong to me completely.

⁴¹ I be the Lord una God; I bring una out of Egypt to be una God. I be the LORD.”
