Micah 3

¹ Make una hear me, una rulers of Israel! Una suppose dey follow justice,

² but una hate good thing and love evil. Una dey skin my people alive and remove flesh commot from their bones.

³ Una dey chop my people. Una remove their skin, break their bones, and una cut dem like meat wey dey pot.

⁴ The time dey come when una go cry out to God, but he no go answer una. He no go hear una prayers, because una don do evil.

⁵ Those prophets don deceive my people say dem go give peace to those wey pay them, but dem dey use war threathen those wey no pay them. God tell those prophets say,

⁶ “Prophets, una days go soon end; the sun dey go down on top una. Because una mislead my people, una no go see vision again, and una no go fit tell anything wey go happen again”

⁷ Shame go catch those wey dey tell future, because dem go fail. Shame go catch them because God no go answer them.

⁸ But as for me, God dey fill me with him Spirit and power, and give me sense of justice and the courage to tell people Israel wetin their sins be.

⁹ Make una hear me, una rulers of Israel, una wey hate justice and dey turn right to wrong.

¹⁰ Una dey build the city of God, Jerusalem on top foundation of murder and injustice.

¹¹ The city ruler dey rule for bribes, and the priests dey collect money take interprete the law, prophets dey give revelation for money - and dem all talk say, God dey with them. Dem talk say, “God dey with us, nothing go harm us.”

¹² So because of una, Zion go clear like field, Jerusalem go destroy and the temple hill go turn forest.
