1 EMI si wipe, Gbọ́, emi bẹ̀ nyin, ẹnyin olori ni Jakobu, ati ẹnyin alakoso ile Israeli; ti nyin kì iṣe lati mọ̀ idajọ bi?

1 And I said, Hear, I pray you, O heads of Jacob, and ye princes of the house of Israel; Is it not for you to know judgment?

2 Ẹnyin ti o korira ire, ti ẹ si fẹ ibi; ti ẹ já awọ-ara wọn kuro lara wọn, ati ẹran-ara wọn kuro li egungun wọn;

2 Who hate the good, and love the evil; who pluck off their skin from off them, and their flesh from off their bones;

3 Awọn ẹniti o si jẹ ẹran-ara awọn enia mi pẹlu, ti nwọn si họ́ awọ-ara wọn kuro lara wọn, nwọn si fọ́ egungun wọn, nwọn si ke wọn wẹwẹ, bi ti ikòko, ati gẹgẹ bi ẹran ninu òdu.

3 Who also eat the flesh of my people, and flay their skin from off them; and they break their bones, and chop them in pieces, as for the pot, and as flesh within the caldron.

4 Nigbana ni nwọn o kigbe pe Oluwa, ṣugbọn on kì yio gbọ́ ti wọn: on o tilẹ pa oju rẹ̀ mọ kuro lọdọ wọn li akoko na, gẹgẹ bi nwọn ti huwà alaifi ri ninu gbogbo iṣe wọn.

4 Then shall they cry unto the LORD, but he will not hear them: he will even hide his face from them at that time, as they have behaved themselves ill in their doings.

5 Bayi ni Oluwa wi niti awọn woli ti nṣì awọn enia mi li ọ̀na, ti nfi ehín wọn bù ni ṣán, ti o si nkigbe wipe, Alafia; on ẹniti kò fi nkan si wọn li ẹnu, awọn na si mura ogun si i.

5 Thus saith the LORD concerning the prophets that make my people err, that bite with their teeth, and cry, Peace; and he that putteth not into their mouths, they even prepare war against him.

6 Nitorina oru yio ru nyin, ti ẹnyin kì yio fi ri iran; òkunkun yio si kùn fun nyin, ti ẹnyin kì o fi le sọtẹlẹ; õrùn yio si wọ̀ lori awọn woli, ọjọ yio si ṣokùnkun lori wọn.

6 Therefore night shall be unto you, that ye shall not have a vision; and it shall be dark unto you, that ye shall not divine; and the sun shall go down over the prophets, and the day shall be dark over them.

7 Oju yio si tì awọn ariran, awọn alasọtẹlẹ̀ na yio si dãmu: nitõtọ, gbogbo wọn o bò ete wọn: nitori idahùn kò si lati ọdọ Ọlọrun.

7 Then shall the seers be ashamed, and the diviners confounded: yea, they shall all cover their lips; for there is no answer of God.

8 Ṣugbọn nitõtọ emi kún fun agbara nipa ẹmi Oluwa, ati fun idajọ, ati fun ipá, lati sọ irekọja Jakobu fun u, ati lati sọ ẹ̀ṣẹ Israeli fun u.

8 But truly I am full of power by the spirit of the LORD, and of judgment, and of might, to declare unto Jacob his transgression, and to Israel his sin.

9 Gbọ́ eyi, emi bẹ̀ nyin, ẹnyin olori ile Jakobu; ati awọn alakoso ile Israeli, ti o korira idajọ, ti o si yi otitọ pada.

9 Hear this, I pray you, ye heads of the house of Jacob, and princes of the house of Israel, that abhor judgment, and pervert all equity.

10 Ti o fi ẹjẹ kọ́ Sioni, ati Jerusalemu pẹlu iwà ẹ̀ṣẹ.

10 They build up Zion with blood, and Jerusalem with iniquity.

11 Awọn olori rẹ̀ nṣe idajọ nitori ère, awọn alufa rẹ̀ nkọ́ni fun ọyà, awọn woli rẹ̀ si nsọtẹlẹ fun owo: sibẹ ni nwọn o gbẹkẹle Oluwa, wipe, Oluwa kò ha wà lãrin wa? ibi kan kì yio ba wa.

11 The heads thereof judge for reward, and the priests thereof teach for hire, and the prophets thereof divine for money: yet will they lean upon the LORD, and say, Is not the LORD among us? none evil can come upon us.

12 Nitorina nitori nyin ni a o ṣe ro Sioni bi oko, Jerusalemu yio si di okìti, ati oke-nla ile bi ibi giga igbo.

12 Therefore shall Zion for your sake be plowed as a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the mountain of the house as the high places of the forest.
