Micah 2

¹ E go be bad thing for people wey dey awake on their bed and dey plan evil. For morning, as dem get chance, dem do the evil wey dem don plan.

² When dem need field, dem dey seize am, when dem need houses, dem go take them. Person family or property no safe for their side.

³ Naso God talk say, “I dey plan bring disaster on top una, and una no go fit escape am. Una go enter trouble, and una no go dey proud again.

⁴ When that time reach, people go use una story take learn example of destruction, and dem go sing this sad song about una experience: We don destroy completely! God don take our land and give am to people wey take us as slave.”

⁵ So, when time don reach make dem give the land back to God people, una no go get any share.

⁶ People preach to me and talk say, “No preach to us. No preach about that, God no go disgrace us.

⁷ Shey you think say people of Israel dey under curse? Shey God no get patience again? Shey him fit do that kind thing? Shey he no dey speak kind word to people wey do right thing?”

⁸ God reply say, “Una attack my people like enemies. Men return from battle, thinking say dem dey safe for house, but una dey there dey wait to thief their coat commot for their backs.

⁹ Una drive my people women commot for the house wey dem love, and una rob their children of my blessings forever.

¹⁰ Get up and go; here no dey safe again. Una sin don bring destruction to this place

¹¹ These people, na prophet wey dey lie and deceive dem want. The one wey go say, ‘I prophesy say wine and liquor go flow for una.’

¹² But I go gather una together, all people of Israel wey remain. I go bring una together like sheep wey dey go back to fold. Like field wey dey full of sheep, una land go dey full of people again”.

¹³ God go open way for them and lead them commot for strange land. Dem go break commot for city gate and go free. Their king, the LORD himself, go lead them out.
