Leviticus 17
1 God command Moses
2 make he tell Aaron and him son, and all people of Israel the rules wey follow.
3 Any Israelite wey kill cow or sheep or goat for the camp or for outside the camp
4 Wey come bring am as offering to God for anywhere wey no be entrance of Tabernacle Tent don break the law. He don shed blood and he no go be one of God people again.
5 The meaning of the command na say, the people of Israel go bring to God, the animal wey dem dey kill for open field before. Dem go bring them to the priest for entrance of the Tent and kill them for fellowship offering.
6 The priest go throw the blood against side of the altar for entrance of the Tent, and burn the fat wey go bring good smell wey dey please God.
7 Make people of Israel no longer dey unfaithful to God by killing their animal for field as sacrifice to goat-demon. People of Israel go dey keep this rule for all time to come.
8 Any Israelite or any foreigner wey dey for the community, wey offer burnt offering or any other sacrifice
9 as offering to god for anywhere apart from entrance of the Tent no go be one of God people again.
10 If any Israelite or any foreigner wey dey live for community eat meat wey still get blood inside, God go turn against him and he no go be one of him people again.
11 The life of every living thing dey for the blood, and that na why God don command say make una dey pour out all blood for altar, to take away the people sin. Blood, wey get life dey take away sins.
12 That na why God don tell people of Israel say, make them and foreigners wey dey live among them no dey eat meat wey still get blood inside.
13 If any Israelite or foreigner wey dey live for the community go hunt wild animal or bird wey una fit eat, make he pour the blood for ground and cover am with dirt.
14 This na because say, life of every living thing dey inside blood. Naso I give this command to Israelites: No eat meat wey still get blood inside! Make una separate anyone wey eat blood from him people.
15 Any person, Israelite or foreigner wey eat meat from animal wey don die natural death, or na wild animal kill am, make he wash him cloth, bath, and wait till evening before he dey clean.
16 If he no do am, he go suffer the guilt.�
