1 OLUWA si sọ fun Mose pe,
1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
2 Sọ fun Aaroni, ati fun awọn ọmọ rẹ̀, ati fun gbogbo awọn ọmọ Israeli, ki o si wi fun wọn pe; Eyi li ohun ti OLUWA ti palaṣẹ, wipe,
2 Speak unto Aaron, and unto his sons, and unto all the children of Israel, and say unto them; This is the thing which the LORD hath commanded, saying,
3 Ẹnikẹni ti iṣe enia ile Israeli, ti o ba pa akọmalu tabi ọdọ-agutan, tabi ewurẹ, ninu ibudó, tabi ti o pa a lẹhin ibudó,
3 What man soever there be of the house of Israel, that killeth an ox, or lamb, or goat, in the camp, or that killeth it out of the camp,
4 Ti kò si mú u wá si ẹnu-ọ̀na agọ́ ajọ, lati ru u li ẹbọ wi OLUWA niwaju agọ́ OLUWA: a o kà ẹ̀jẹ si ọkunrin na lọrùn, o ta ẹ̀jẹ silẹ; ọkunrin na li a o si ke kuro ninu awọn enia rẹ̀:
4 And bringeth it not unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, to offer an offering unto the LORD before the tabernacle of the LORD; blood shall be imputed unto that man; he hath shed blood; and that man shall be cut off from among his people:
5 Nitori idí eyi pe, ki awọn ọmọ Israeli ki o le ma mú ẹbọ wọn wá, ti nwọn ru ni oko gbangba, ani ki nwọn ki o le mú u tọ̀ OLUWA wá, si ẹnu-ọ̀na agọ́ ajọ, sọdọ alufa, ki o si ru wọn li ẹbọ alafia si OLUWA.
5 To the end that the children of Israel may bring their sacrifices, which they offer in the open field, even that they may bring them unto the LORD, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, unto the priest, and offer them for peace offerings unto the LORD.
6 Ki alufa ki o si bù ẹ̀jẹ na wọ́n ori pẹpẹ OLUWA li ẹnu-ọ̀na agọ́ ajọ, ki o si sun ọrá na fun õrùn didún si OLUWA.
6 And the priest shall sprinkle the blood upon the altar of the LORD at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and burn the fat for a sweet savour unto the LORD.
7 Ki nwọn ki o má si ṣe ru ẹbọ wọn si obukọ mọ́, ti nwọn ti ntọ̀ lẹhin ṣe àgbere. Eyi ni yio ma ṣe ìlana lailai fun wọn ni iran-iran wọn.
7 And they shall no more offer their sacrifices unto devils, after whom they have gone a whoring. This shall be a statute for ever unto them throughout their generations.
8 Ki iwọ ki o si wi fun wọn, Ẹnikẹni ninu ile Israeli, tabi ninu alejò ti nṣe atipo ninu wọn, ti o ru ẹbọ sisun tabi ẹbọ kan,
8 And thou shalt say unto them, Whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers which sojourn among you, that offereth a burnt offering of sacrifice,
9 Ti kò si mú u wá si ẹnu-ọ̀na agọ́ ajọ, lati ru u si OLUWA; ani ọkunrin na li a o ke kuro ninu awọn enia rẹ̀.
9 And bringeth it not unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, to offer it unto the LORD; even that man shall be cut off from among his people.
10 Ati ẹnikẹni ninu ile Israeli, tabi ninu alejò ti nṣe atipo ninu wọn, ti o ba jẹ ẹ̀jẹkẹjẹ; ani emi o kọ oju mi si ọkàn na ti o jẹ ẹ̀jẹ, emi o si ke e kuro ninu awọn enia rẹ̀.
10 And whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, that eateth any manner of blood; I will even set my face against that soul that eateth blood, and will cut him off from among his people.
11 Nitoripe ẹmi ara mbẹ ninu ẹ̀jẹ: emi si ti fi i fun nyin lati ma fi ṣètutu fun ọkàn nyin lori pẹpẹ nì: nitoripe ẹ̀jẹ ni iṣe ètutu fun ọkàn.
11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.
12 Nitorina ni mo ṣe wi fun awọn ọmọ Israeli pe, Ọkàn kan ninu nyin kò gbọdọ jẹ ẹ̀jẹ, bẹ̃li alejò kan ti nṣe atipo ninu nyin kò gbọdọ jẹ ẹ̀jẹ.
12 Therefore I said unto the children of Israel, No soul of you shall eat blood, neither shall any stranger that sojourneth among you eat blood.
13 Ati ẹnikẹni ninu awọn ọmọ Israeli, tabi ninu awọn alejò ti nṣe atipo ninu wọn, ti nṣe ọdẹ ti o si mú ẹranko tabi ẹiyẹ ti a ba jẹ; ani ki o ro ẹ̀jẹ rẹ̀ dànu, ki o si fi erupẹ bò o.
13 And whatsoever man there be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, which hunteth and catcheth any beast or fowl that may be eaten; he shall even pour out the blood thereof, and cover it with dust.
14 Nitoripe ẹmi gbogbo ara ni, ẹ̀jẹ rẹ̀ ni ẹmi rẹ̀: nitorina ni mo ṣe wi fun awọn ọmọ Israeli pe, Ẹnyin kò gbọdọ jẹ ẹ̀jẹ ẹrankẹran: nitoripe ẹ̀jẹ li ẹmi ara gbogbo: ẹnikẹni ti o ba jẹ ẹ li a o ke kuro.
14 For it is the life of all flesh; the blood of it is for the life thereof: therefore I said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall eat the blood of no manner of flesh: for the life of all flesh is the blood thereof: whosoever eateth it shall be cut off.
15 Ati gbogbo ọkàn ti o ba jẹ ẹran ti o tikara rẹ̀ kú, tabi eyiti a fàya, iba ṣe ọkan ninu awọn ibilẹ, tabi alejò, ki o fọ̀ aṣọ rẹ̀, ki o si wẹ̀ ara rẹ̀ ninu omi, ki o si jẹ́ alaimọ́ titi di aṣalẹ: nigbana li on o mọ́.
15 And every soul that eateth that which died of itself, or that which was torn with beasts, whether it be one of your own country, or a stranger, he shall both wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even: then shall he be clean.
16 Ṣugbọn bi kò ba fọ̀ wọn, tabi ti kò si wẹ̀ ara rẹ̀; njẹ on o rù ẹ̀ṣẹ rẹ̀.
16 But if he wash them not, nor bathe his flesh; then he shall bear his iniquity.
