Job 35

¹ Elihu continue to dey talk:

² Job, e no dey right for you to talk say you dey innocent for God eye.

³ Or to dey ask God, “How my sin take affect you? Wetin I don gain if I no sin?”

⁴ I go answer you and your friend too.

⁵ Look sky! Make you see how high the cloud be!

⁶ If you sin, e no do God any harm. If you do wrong thing plenty time, that one affect him?

⁷ Shey you dey help God if you dey righteous? God no need anything from you.

⁸ Others dey suffer from your sin, and the good wey you do dey help them.

⁹ People wey dey suffer dey complain, and dem dey cry make person come help them.

¹⁰ But dem no turn to God wey create them, wey dey give them hope for their dark time.

¹¹ Dem no turn to God wey dey make us wise, wey make us wise pass any animal or bird.

¹² Dem dey cry for help, but God no dey answer, because dem dey proud and dem be evil.

¹³ E dey useless for them to cry out; Almighty God no dey see or hear them.

¹⁴ Job, you talk say you no fit see God, but make you wait and calm down – your case dey him front.

¹⁵ You think say God no dey punish, say he dey pay small attention to sin.

¹⁶ E dey useless make you continue dey talk; e dey clear say you no know wetin you dey talk.
