Read Job 35
1 ELIHU sọ pẹlu o si wipe,
1 Elihu spake moreover, and said,
2 Iwọ rò pe eyi ha tọ́, ti iwọ wipe, ododo mi ni eyi niwaju Ọlọrun pe,
2 Thinkest thou this to be right, that thou saidst, My righteousness is more than God's?
3 Nitoriti iwọ wipe, Ère kini yio jasi fun ọ, tabi ère kili emi o fi jẹ jù ère ẹ̀ṣẹ mi lọ?
3 For thou saidst, What advantage will it be unto thee? and, What profit shall I have, if I be cleansed from my sin?
4 Emi o da ọ lohùn ati awọn ẹgbẹ rẹ pẹlu rẹ.
4 I will answer thee, and thy companions with thee.
5 Ṣiju wò ọrun, ki o ri i, ki o si bojuwo awọsanma ti o ga jù ọ lọ.
5 Look unto the heavens, and see; and behold the clouds which are higher than thou.
6 Bi iwọ ba ṣẹ̀ kini iwọ fi ṣe si i? tabi bi irekọja rẹ di pupọ, kini iwọ fi eyini ṣe si i?
6 If thou sinnest, what doest thou against him? or if thy transgressions be multiplied, what doest thou unto him?
7 Bi iwọ ba si ṣe olododo, kini iwọ fi bùn u, tabi kili on ri gbà lati ọwọ rẹ wá?
7 If thou be righteous, what givest thou him? or what receiveth he of thine hand?
8 Ìwa buburu rẹ ni fun enia bi iwọ; ododo rẹ si ni fun ọmọ enia.
8 Thy wickedness may hurt a man as thou art; and thy righteousness may profit the son of man.
9 Nipa ọ̀pọlọpọ ininilara nwọn mu ni kigbe, nwọn kigbe nitori apá awọn alagbara.
9 By reason of the multitude of oppressions they make the oppressed to cry: they cry out by reason of the arm of the mighty.
10 Ṣugbọn kò si ẹniti o wipe, Nibo ni Ọlọrun Ẹlẹda mi wà, ti o fi orin fun mi li oru?
10 But none saith, Where is God my maker, who giveth songs in the night;
11 Ti on kọ́ wa li ẹkọ́ jù awọn ẹranko aiye lọ, ti o si mu wa gbọ́n jù awọn ẹiyẹ oju ọrun lọ.
11 Who teacheth us more than the beasts of the earth, and maketh us wiser than the fowls of heaven?
12 Nigbana ni nwọn ke, ṣugbọn Ọlọrun kò dahùn nitori igberaga awọn enia buburu.
12 There they cry, but none giveth answer, because of the pride of evil men.
13 Nitõtọ Ọlọrun kì yio gbọ́ asan, bẹ̃ni Olodumare kì yio kà a si.
13 Surely God will not hear vanity, neither will the Almighty regard it.
14 Bi o tilẹ ṣepe iwọ wipe, iwọ kì iri i, ọran idajọ mbẹ niwaju rẹ̀, ẹniti iwọ si gbẹkẹle.
14 Although thou sayest thou shalt not see him, yet judgment is before him; therefore trust thou in him.
15 Ṣugbọn nisisiyi nitoriti ibinu rẹ̀ kò ti ṣẹ́ ọ niṣẹ, on kò ha le imọ̀ ọ̀pọlọpọ ẹ̀ṣẹ bi?
15 But now, because it is not so, he hath visited in his anger; yet he knoweth it not in great extremity:
16 Nitorina ni Jobu ṣe ya ẹnu rẹ̀ lasan, o sọ ọ̀rọ di pupọ laisi ìmọ.
16 Therefore doth Job open his mouth in vain; he multiplieth words without knowledge.
