Job 33
1 And now, Job, make you listen carefully to wetin I wan talk.
2 I dey ready to talk wetin dey my mind.
3 All my word na true talk.
4 Na Spirit of God make me and give me life.
5 Answer me if you fit, make you prepare your argument.
6 You and I na the same we be for God eye, na clay him use form two of us.
7 So you no get any reason to dey fear me, I no go overpower you.
8 Now, na wetin I hear you talk be this:
9 I no dey guilty; I no do anything wrong. I dey innocent and I dey free from sin.
10 But God find excuse to dey attack me and treat me like enemy.
11 He use chain bind me for leg; he dey watch every move I dey make.
12 But Job, I dey tell you say you dey wrong. God great pass any human being.
13 Why you dey accuse God because him no answer our complain?
14 Although God dey talk again and again, nobody dey listen to wetin him dey talk.
15 For night when people dey sleep, God dey talk for dream and vision.
16 He dey make them hear wetin him dey talk, and dem dey fear as he dey warn them.
17 God dey talk to make them stop their sin and save them make dem no start to dey proud.
18 Him no go let them perish; he dey save them from death.
19 God dey send sickness to dey correct people and put pain for their body.
20 Those wey sick no dey fit chop, dem no dey even like the best food.
21 Their body dey waste away for nothing; you go fit see their bones;
22 dem don almost go to the world of the dead.
23 Maybe one angel fit come help them - one of thousands of angel wey God get, wey dey remind us of wetin we suppose do.
24 In mercy the angel go talk say, Release them! Dem no suppose go world of the dead. Na payment to set them free be this.
25 Their body go grow young and strong again;
26 When dem pray, God go answer; dem go worship God with joy; God go make things right for them again.
27 Everyone go talk for public say, I don sin. I no do wetin dey right, but God save me.
28 He keep me make I no go world of the dead, and I still dey alive.
29 God dey do this again and again;
30 he dey save person life and give am joy of living.
31 Now, Job, make you hear wetin I dey talk; dey quiet make I talk.
32 But if you get wetin you wan talk, make I hear am; I go happy say you dey right,
33 But if you no get, keep quiet make you hear me, and I go teach you how to dey wise.
