Read Job 33
1 NJẸ nitorina, Jobu, emi bẹ̀ ọ, gbọ́ ọ̀rọ mi, ki o si fetisi ọ̀rọ mi!
1 Wherefore, Job, I pray thee, hear my speeches, and hearken to all my words.
2 Kiyesi i nisisiyi, emi ya ẹnu mi, ahọn mi si sọ̀rọ li ẹnu mi.
2 Behold, now I have opened my mouth, my tongue hath spoken in my mouth.
3 Ọ̀rọ mi yio si jasi iduroṣinṣin ọkàn mi, ete mi yio si sọ ìmọ mi jade dajudaju.
3 My words shall be of the uprightness of my heart: and my lips shall utter knowledge clearly.
4 Ẹmi Ọlọrun li o ti da mi, ati imisi Olodumare li o ti fun mi ni ìye.
4 The Spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.
5 Bi iwọ ba le da mi lohùn, tò ọ̀rọ rẹ lẹsẹsẹ niwaju mi, dide duro!
5 If thou canst answer me, set thy words in order before me, stand up.
6 Kiyesi i, bi iwọ jẹ ti Ọlọrun, bẹ̃li emi na; lati erupẹ wá ni a si ti dá mi pẹlu.
6 Behold, I am according to thy wish in God's stead: I also am formed out of the clay.
7 Kiyesi i, ẹ̀ru nla mi kì yio bà ọ, bẹ̃li ọwọ mi kì yio wuwo si ọ lara.
7 Behold, my terror shall not make thee afraid, neither shall my hand be heavy upon thee.
8 Nitõtọ iwọ sọ li eti mi, emi si gbọ́ ọ̀rọ rẹ wipe,
8 Surely thou hast spoken in mine hearing, and I have heard the voice of thy words, saying,
9 Emi mọ́, laini irekọja, alaiṣẹ li emi, bẹ̃li aiṣedede kò si li ọwọ mi.
9 I am clean without transgression, I am innocent; neither is there iniquity in me.
10 Kiyesi i, ẹ̀fẹ li o fẹ si mi, o kà mi si ọ̀ta rẹ̀.
10 Behold, he findeth occasions against me, he counteth me for his enemy,
11 O kàn ẹsẹ mi sinu àba, o kiyesi ipa-irin mi gbogbo.
11 He putteth my feet in the stocks, he marketh all my paths.
12 Kiyesi i, ninu eyi iwọ ṣìna! emi o da ọ lohùn pe: Ọlọrun tobi jù enia lọ!
12 Behold, in this thou art not just: I will answer thee, that God is greater than man.
13 Nitori kini iwọ ṣe mba a jà pe: on kì isọrọ̀kọrọ kan nitori iṣẹ rẹ̀?
13 Why dost thou strive against him? for he giveth not account of any of his matters.
14 Nitoripe Ọlọrun sọ̀rọ lẹkan, ani lẹkeji ṣugbọn enia kò roye rẹ̀.
14 For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not.
15 Ninu àla, li ojuran oru, nigbati orun ìjika ba kùn enia lọ, ni isunyẹ lori bùsun.
15 In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed;
16 Nigbana ni iṣi eti enia, a si fi èdidi di ẹkọ wọn.
16 Then he openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction,
17 Ki o lè ifa enia sẹhin kuro ninu ete rẹ̀, ki o si pa igberaga mọ́ kuro lọdọ enia.
17 That he may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride from man.
18 O si fa ọkàn rẹ̀ pada kuro ninu iho, ati ẹmi rẹ̀ lati ṣègbe lọwọ idà.
18 He keepeth back his soul from the pit, and his life from perishing by the sword.
19 A si fi irora nà a lori ibùsun rẹ̀, pẹlupẹlu a fi ijà egungun rẹ̀ ti o duro pẹ́, nà a.
19 He is chastened also with pain upon his bed, and the multitude of his bones with strong pain:
20 Bẹ̃li ẹmi rẹ̀ kọ̀ onjẹ, ati ọkàn rẹ̀ kọ̀ onjẹ didùn.
20 So that his life abhorreth bread, and his soul dainty meat.
21 Ẹran ara rẹ̀ rùn, titi a kò si fi lè ri i mọ́; egungun rẹ̀ ti a kò ri, si ta jade.
21 His flesh is consumed away, that it cannot be seen; and his bones that were not seen stick out.
22 Ani ọkàn rẹ̀ sunmọ isa-okú, ati ẹmi rẹ̀ sunmọ ọdọ awọn iranṣẹ ikú.
22 Yea, his soul draweth near unto the grave, and his life to the destroyers.
23 Bi onṣẹ kan ba wà lọdọ rẹ̀, ẹniti nṣe alagbawi, ọkan ninu ẹgbẹrun lati fi ọ̀na pipé han ni:
23 If there be a messenger with him, an interpreter, one among a thousand, to shew unto man his uprightness:
24 Nigbana ni o ṣore-ọfẹ fun u, o si wipe, Gbà a kuro ninu ilọ sinu ihò, emi ti ri irapada!
24 Then he is gracious unto him, and saith, Deliver him from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom.
25 Ara rẹ̀ yio si já yọ̀yọ̀ jù ti ọmọ kekere, yio si tún pada si ọjọ igba ewe rẹ̀.
25 His flesh shall be fresher than a child's: he shall return to the days of his youth:
26 O gbadura sọdọ Ọlọrun, on o si ṣe oju rere si i, o si mu enia ri oju rẹ̀ pẹlu ayọ̀, on o san ododo rẹ̀ pada fun enia.
26 He shall pray unto God, and he will be favourable unto him: and he shall see his face with joy: for he will render unto man his righteousness.
27 O bojuwo enia, bi ẹnikan ba si wipe, Emi ṣẹ̀, mo si ti yi eyi ti o tọ́ po, a kò si sẹsan rẹ̀ fun mi;
27 He looketh upon men, and if any say, I have sinned, and perverted that which was right, and it profited me not;
28 O ti gba ọkàn mi kuro ninu ilọ sinu ihò, ẹmi mi yio si ri imọlẹ!
28 He will deliver his soul from going into the pit, and his life shall see the light.
29 Wò o! nkan wọnyi li Ọlọrun imaṣe fun enia nigba meji, ati nigba mẹta,
29 Lo, all these things worketh God oftentimes with man,
30 Lati mu ọkàn rẹ̀ pada kuro ninu ihò, lati fi imọlẹ alãyè mọ́ si i.
30 To bring back his soul from the pit, to be enlightened with the light of the living.
31 Jobu! kiyesi i gidigidi, ki o si fetisilẹ si mi; pa ẹnu rẹ mọ́, emi o si ma sọ!
31 Mark well, O Job, hearken unto me: hold thy peace, and I will speak.
32 Bi iwọ ba si ni ohun iwi, da mi lohùn, mã sọ, nitoripe emi nfẹ da ọ lare.
32 If thou hast any thing to say, answer me: speak, for I desire to justify thee.
33 Bi bẹ̃ kọ̀, gbọ temi, pa ẹnu rẹ mọ́; emi o si kọ́ ọ li ọgbọ́n.
33 If not, hearken unto me: hold thy peace, and I shall teach thee wisdom.
