¹ Why God no set time to dey judge, make he set day of justice for those wey dey serve him?

² People dey move boundary stone so that dem go get more land; dem dey steal sheep and add am to their own.

³ Dem take donkey wey orphan get, and seize widow bull until dem pay back their debt.

⁴ Dem no dey allow poor people get wetin be their own and force those wey dey in need to run and hide.

⁵ So the poor be like wild donkey wey dey find food for dry wilderness; no place dey wey dem fit find food for their children.

⁶ Dem need to dey harvest field wey no be their own, and gather grape for the wicked people vineyard.

⁷ Dem dey sleep with nothing to cover them for night, nothing dey to keep them from cold.

⁸ Rain wey dey fall for mountain dey soak them, and dem dey gather beside rock for shelter.

⁹ Evil people dey turn small pikin wey no get papa to slave and take poor people pikin as payment for debt.

¹⁰ But the poor dey go out without cloth wey go cover them; hunger dey wire them as dem dey harvest wheat.

¹¹ Dem dey press olive for oil, and press grape for wine, but them self dey thirsty.

¹² For city, those wey don wound and wey dey die dey cry out, but God no pay attention to their prayer.

¹⁴ For morning, person wey dey kill dey get up and commot go kill the poor, and he dey thief for night.

¹⁵ The adulterer dey wait make night come; he go cover him face so that nobody fit see am.

¹⁶ For night thief dey enter house, but for day time dem dey hide to dey stay away from light.

¹⁷ Dem fear light of the day, but dem no dey fear darkness.

¹⁸ Flood sweep the wicked away, and God curse the land wey dem get; dem no dey work again for their vineyard.

¹⁹ As snow dey disappear for heat, naso sinner dey disappear from the land of the living.

²⁰ Even their mama no remember them; na worm chop them and dem perish like tree wey fall.

²¹ E happen because dem dey treat widow bad and dem no dey kind to women wey no get pikin.

²² God destroy those wey dey powerful with him strength; as God dey act, the wicked dey die.

²³ God fit allow them live safe, but he go keep eye on them every time.
