Read Job 24
1 ẼṢE bi igba-igba kò pamọ lọdọ Olodumare; ti awọn ojulumọ rẹ̀ kò ri ọjọ rẹ̀?
1 Why, seeing times are not hidden from the Almighty, do they that know him not see his days?
2 Nwọn a ṣi àmi àla ilẹ, nwọn a fi agbara ko agbo ẹran lọ, nwọn si bọ́ wọn.
2 Some remove the landmarks; they violently take away flocks, and feed thereof.
3 Nwọn a si dà kẹtẹkẹtẹ alainibaba lọ, nwọn a si gba ọdá-malu opó li ohun ògo.
3 They drive away the ass of the fatherless, they take the widow's ox for a pledge.
4 Nwọn a bì alaini kuro loju ọ̀na, awọn talaka aiye a sa pamọ́ pọ̀.
4 They turn the needy out of the way: the poor of the earth hide themselves together.
5 Kiyesi i, bi kẹtẹkẹtẹ igbẹ ninu ijù ni nwọn ijade lọ si iṣẹ wọn; nwọn a tete dide lati wá ohun ọdẹ; ijù pese onjẹ fun wọn ati fun awọn ọmọ wọn.
5 Behold, as wild asses in the desert, go they forth to their work; rising betimes for a prey: the wilderness yieldeth food for them and for their children.
6 Olukuluku a si ṣa ọka onjẹ-ẹran rẹ̀ ninu oko, nwọn a si ká ọgba-ajara enia buburu.
6 They reap every one his corn in the field: and they gather the vintage of the wicked.
7 Nihoho ni nwọn ma sùn laini aṣọ, ti nwọn kò ni ibora ninu otutu.
7 They cause the naked to lodge without clothing, that they have no covering in the cold.
8 Ọwara ojo oke-nla si pa wọn, nwọn si lẹ̀mọ apata nitoriti kò si abo.
8 They are wet with the showers of the mountains, and embrace the rock for want of a shelter.
9 Nwọn ja ọmọ-alainibaba kuro li ẹnu-ọmu, nwọn si gbà ohun ẹ̀ri li ọwọ talaka.
9 They pluck the fatherless from the breast, and take a pledge of the poor.
10 Nwọn rìn kiri nihoho laili aṣọ, awọn ti ebi npa rẹrù ìdi-ọka.
10 They cause him to go naked without clothing, and they take away the sheaf from the hungry;
11 Awọn ẹniti nfún ororo ninu agbala wọn, ti nwọn si ntẹ ifunti àjara, ongbẹ si ngbẹ wọn.
11 Which make oil within their walls, and tread their winepresses, and suffer thirst.
12 Awọn enia nkerora lati ilu wá, ọkàn awọn ẹniti o gbọgbẹ kigbe soke; sibẹ Ọlọrun kò kiyesi iwère na.
12 Men groan from out of the city, and the soul of the wounded crieth out: yet God layeth not folly to them.
13 Awọn li o wà ninu awọn ti o kọ̀ imọlẹ, nwọn kò mọ̀ ipa ọ̀na rẹ̀, bẹni nwọn kò duro nipa ọ̀na rẹ̀.
13 They are of those that rebel against the light; they know not the ways thereof, nor abide in the paths thereof.
14 Panipani a dide li afẹmọ́jumọ pa talaka ati alaini, ati li oru a di olè.
14 The murderer rising with the light killeth the poor and needy, and in the night is as a thief.
15 Oju àlagbere pẹlu duro de ofefe ọjọ, o ni, Oju ẹnikan kì yio ri mi, o si fi iboju boju rẹ̀.
15 The eye also of the adulterer waiteth for the twilight, saying, No eye shall see me: and disguiseth his face.
16 Li òkunkun nwọn a runlẹ wọle, ti nwọn ti fi oju sọ fun ara wọn li ọsan, nwọn kò mọ̀ imọlẹ.
16 In the dark they dig through houses, which they had marked for themselves in the daytime: they know not the light.
17 Nitoripe bi oru dudu ni owurọ̀ fun gbogbo wọn; nitoriti nwọn si mọ̀ ibẹru oru dudu.
17 For the morning is to them even as the shadow of death: if one know them, they are in the terrors of the shadow of death.
18 O yara lọ bi ẹni loju omi; ifibu ni ipin wọn li aiye, on kò rìn lọ mọ li ọ̀na ọgba-ajara.
18 He is swift as the waters; their portion is cursed in the earth: he beholdeth not the way of the vineyards.
19 Ọdá ati õru ni imu omi ojo-didi gbẹ, bẹ̃ni isa-okú irun awọn ẹ̀lẹṣẹ.
19 Drought and heat consume the snow waters: so doth the grave those which have sinned.
20 Inu ibímọ yio gbagbe rẹ̀, kokoro ni yio ma fi adun jẹun lara rẹ̀, a kì yio ranti rẹ̀ mọ́; bẹ̃ni a o si ṣẹ ìwa-buburu bi ẹni ṣẹ igi.
20 The womb shall forget him; the worm shall feed sweetly on him; he shall be no more remembered; and wickedness shall be broken as a tree.
21 Ẹniti o hù ìwa-buburu si agàn ti kò bí ri, ti kò ṣe rere si opó.
21 He evil entreateth the barren that beareth not: and doeth not good to the widow.
22 O fi ipá rẹ̀ fà alagbara lọ pẹlu; o dide, kò si ẹniti ẹmi rẹ̀ da loju.
22 He draweth also the mighty with his power: he riseth up, and no man is sure of life.
23 On si fi ìwa ailewu fun u, ati ninu eyi ni a o si tì i lẹhin, oju rẹ̀ si wà ni ipa-ọna wọn.
23 Though it be given him to be in safety, whereon he resteth; yet his eyes are upon their ways.
24 A gbe wọn lekè nigba diẹ, nwọn kọja lọ, a si rẹ̀ wọn silẹ, a si mu wọn kuro li ọ̀na, bi awọn ẹlomiran, a si ke wọn kuro bi ori ṣiri itú ọkà bàbà.
24 They are exalted for a little while, but are gone and brought low; they are taken out of the way as all other, and cut off as the tops of the ears of corn.
25 Njẹ, bi kò ba ri bẹ̃ nisisiyi, tani yio mu mi li eké, ti yio si fi ọ̀rọ mi ṣe alainidi?
25 And if it be not so now, who will make me a liar, and make my speech nothing worth?
