3 Make una give me chance make I talk and wen I don finish, una fit make fun of me if una like.
4 My quarrel no be with human being; I get good reason to dey vex.
5 Make una look at me. Shey that one no dey enough for una to dey shock and keep quiet?
6 When I dey think of wetin don happen to me, I shock, and I dey shake.
7 Why God dey allow evil people live, why him allow them grow old and prosper?
8 Dem get children and grandchildren, and dem dey alive to dey watch all of them grow up.
9 God no dey bring disaster on top their house; dem no dey ever live in terror.
10 Yes, all their cattle dey born without trouble.
11 Their children dey run around and play like lamb
12 and dem dey dance to music of harps and flute
13 Dem dey live their lives in peace and die quietly and dem no dey suffer.
14 The wicked dey tell God to leave them alone; dem no wan know wetin him want for their lives.
15 Dem think say dem no need to serve God or dem no get reason to dey pray to him.
16 Dem dey claim say na their own strength dey give them success, but I no fit accept the way dem dey think.
17 The light of wicked person don ever go off? Anyone of them don ever meet disaster? God don ever punish the wicked with anger
18 and blow dem commot like grass for wind, or like dust wey storm dey carry away?
19 Una claim say God dey punish the child for the sin wey him father commit. No! Make God punish sinner themselves; make him show say him do am because of their sin.
20 Make sinner get their own punishment; make dem feel the anger of Almighty God.
21 When our live don finish, shey we dey ever care if our children dey happy?
22 Anybody fit teach God, wey dey judge those wey dey for high place?
23 Some people dey still dey strong till the day wey dem die;
24 dem die happy with ease, their body dey fresh.
25 Others no dey get happiness at all; dem dey live and die with bitter heart.
26 But all of them dey die and dem dey bury same way; na worm go cover all of them.
27 I know the kind terrible thought wey una get.
28 Una dey ask say, Where the great people house dey now, those wey dey practice evil?
29 Shey una never follow people wey travel talk? Shey una no know the report wey dem bring back?
30 On the day wey God dey vex and when him dey punish, na the wicked dem no dey destroy.
31 Nobody dey to accuse the wicked or pay them back for everything dem don do.
32 When dem carry them go burial ground, to their burial ground wey dem guard well,
33 thousand people dey join them for burial ceremony, and even the earth lie gently for their body.
34 And una dey try comfort me with nonsense; every answer wey una give na lie dem be!
