You don block their mind wey dem dey use think; you allow them get victory over me.
For old proverb, person betray him friend because of money, and him children suffer for am.
And now people dey use this proverb against me; dem dey come spit for my face.
My pain don almost make me blind; my hand and leg don thin like shadow.
Shock don catch those wey claim say dem dey honest, and dem condemn me like person wey no get god.
But those wey dey do right go continue to dey do wetin dey right. Those wey no dey guilty dey grow stronger.
But if all of them come stand for my front, I no go even find anyone of them wey wise.
My days don pass; my plan don fail; my hope don go.
But my friend dey talk say night na day; dem talk say light dey near, but I know say I dey for darkness.
My only hope na world of the dead, where I go lie down sleep for dark.
I fit call grave my papa, and call worm wey go chop me my mama and my sister.
Where any hope dey for me? Who dey see any of am?
Hope no go follow me when I enter world of the dead.
