Job 15
Eliphaz from Teman con answer Job say:
Empty word, Job! Wetin you dey talk no make sense!
Person wey dey wise no go talk the way you dey talk or defend himself with word wey no get meaning.
If you get opportunity, nobody go fear God; nobody go pray to him.
Wetin you dey talk na evidence say you dey wicked; you dey try hide behind wise word.
I no need to condemn you; the word wey you speak don condemn you.
You think say na you be the first person wey dem born? Shey you dey there when God make mountain?
You hear the plan wey God make? Shey na only you get human wisdom?
Nothing wey you know wey we no know.
We learn our wisdom from old people wey get grey hair - those wey dem born before your father.
God dey offer you comfort, why you still dey reject am? We don talk for him with calm word.
Why you no dey understand? Why you no fit see the truth?
You dey vex with God and reject him.
Any human being fit dey pure for real? Shey anybody fit dey right with God?
Why be say, God no even trust him angels; even them no dey pure for him eye.
And people dey drink evil like say na water; yes, dem dey corrupt; dem no get value.
Job, make you hear wetin I know now.
Those wey dey wise don teach me the truth wey dem learn from their ancestor, and dem no hide any secret.
Their land dey free from foreigner; nobody dey to lead them away from God.
The wicked wey dey suffer others go dey for trouble so far dem dey alive.
Voice of fear go dey shout for their ear, and robbers go attack when dem think say dem dey safe.
Dem no get hope on how dem go escape from darkness, sword dey wait to kill them somewhere,
and vulture dey wait to chop their dead body. Dem know say their future dey dark;
disaster like powerful king dey wait make e attack them.
That na the destiny of those wey dey shake fist with God and wey no gree obey the Almighty.
Dem dey proud and dem dey disobey;
Dem dey use strong-head carry their shield and rush to go fight against God.
Na dem dey catch city and seize house wey the owner don run commot, but war go destroy the house and city.
Dem no go dey rich for long; nothing wey dem get go last. Even their shadow go fade away,
and dem no go escape from darkness. Dem go be like tree wey fire don burn the branch, wey wind don blow the flower commot.
If dem dey foolish reach make dem trust evil, then na evil go be their reward.
Dem go dry before their time reach, dry like branch and dem no go ever green again.
Dem go be like vine wey lose their grape wey never ripe; like olive tree wey the flower dey drop.
Descendant no go dey for people wey no get god, and fire go destroy the house wey dem use bribe build.
Na the people wey dey plan trouble and wey dey do evil be these; na lie dey always full their heart.
