Isaiah 63
1 Who be this wey dey come from city of Bozrah for Edom? Who be this wey dey wear red dress, wey dey match in power and strength? Na God, wey get power to save, e dey come announce him victory.
2 Why the clothe con red like this, like person wey crush grapes to make wine?
3 God answer say, I don crush the nations like grape, and nobody come help me. I vex crush them, and their blood don stain all my clothe.
4 I decide say the time to save my people don reach; na time to punish their enemies.
5 E surprise me when I look and see say nobody dey to help me. But my anger con make me strong, and I win the victory myself.
6 I use my anger to crush the whole nation and scatter them. I pour their blood for ground.
7 I go talk of God love wey no dey fail; I praise him for everything wey him don do for us. He don bless people of Israel well because of him mercy and contant love.
8 God talk say, Dem be my people; dem no go deceive me. Naso he save them
9 From all their sufferings. No be angel, but na God wey save them by himself. He con use him love and mercy to rescue them. He been dey always take care of them for past,
1 But dem go against him and dem make him Holy spirit sad. Naso God turn their enemy and fight against them.
1 But dem remember the past, the days of moses, the servant of God, and dem ask say, Where be the LORD, wey save the leaders of him people from the sea? Wey the LORD, wey give him spirit to moses?
1 Wey the LORD, wey do great thing with him people through moses, wey divide water of the sea and lead him people through deep water, to win everlasting fame for himself?
1 God lead them, dem stand strong like wild horses, and dem no fall.
1 As dem dey lead cattle go fertile valley, naso God give him people rest. He lead him people and bring honour to him name.
1 LORD, make you look upon us from heaven, where you dey live for your holiness and glory. Wey your great concern for us? Wey your power? Wey your love and mercy? No ignore us.
1 You be our father. Our ancestors Abraham and Jacob no accept us, but you, LORD, you be our father, the one wey dey always rescue us.
1 Why you allow us move away from your ways? Why you make us dey get strong head? So tey we stay away from you, Make you come back, for the sake of those wey serve you, for the sake of those wey always be your own.
1 We wey be you holy people, Our enemies don drive us out, dem don match your sanctuary.
1 You treat us like say you never be our ruler before, like say we never be your people before.
