Read Isaiah 63
1 TANI eleyi ti o ti Edomu wá, ti on ti aṣọ arẹpọ́n lati Bosra wá? eyi ti o li ogo ninu aṣọ rẹ̀, ti o nyan ninu titobi agbara rẹ̀? Emi ni ẹniti nsọ̀rọ li ododo, ti o ni ipá lati gbala.
1 Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this that is glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save.
2 Nitori kini aṣọ rẹ fi pọ́n, ti aṣọ rẹ wọnni fi dabi ẹniti ntẹ̀ ohun-èlo ifunti waini?
2 Wherefore art thou red in thine apparel, and thy garments like him that treadeth in the winefat?
3 Emi nikan ti tẹ̀ ohun-elò ifunti waini; ati ninu awọn enia, ẹnikan kò pẹlu mi: nitori emi tẹ̀ wọn ninu ibinu mi, mo si tẹ̀ wọn mọlẹ ninu irunú mi; ẹ̀jẹ wọn si ta si aṣọ mi, mo si ṣe gbogbo ẹ̀wu mi ni abawọ́n.
3 I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people there was none with me: for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment.
4 Nitori ọjọ ẹsan mbẹ li aiya mi, ọdun awọn ẹni-irapada mi ti de.
4 For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come.
5 Mo si wò, kò si si oluranlọwọ; ẹnu si yà mi pe kò si olugbéro; nitorina apa ti emi tikalami mu igbala wá sọdọ mi; ati irunú mi, on li o gbe mi ro.
5 And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me.
6 Emi si tẹ̀ awọn enia mọlẹ ninu ibinu mi, mo si mu wọn mu yó ninu irunú mi, mo si mu ipa wọn sọkalẹ si ilẹ.
6 And I will tread down the people in mine anger, and make them drunk in my fury, and I will bring down their strength to the earth.
7 Emi o sọ ti iṣeun ifẹ Oluwa, iyìn Oluwa gẹgẹ bi gbogbo eyiti Oluwa ti fi fun wa, ati ti ore nla si ile Israeli, ti o ti fi fun wọn gẹgẹ bi ãnu rẹ̀, ati gẹgẹ bi ọ̀pọlọpọ iṣeun ifẹ rẹ̀.
7 I will mention the lovingkindnesses of the LORD, and the praises of the LORD, according to all that the LORD hath bestowed on us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which he hath bestowed on them according to his mercies, and according to the multitude of his lovingkindnesses.
8 On si wipe, Lõtọ enia mi ni nwọn, awọn ọmọ ti kì iṣeke: on si di Olugbala wọn.
8 For he said, Surely they are my people, children that will not lie: so he was their Saviour.
9 Ninu gbogbo ipọnju wọn, oju a pọn ọ, angeli iwaju rẹ̀ si gbà wọn: ninu ifẹ rẹ̀ ati suru rẹ̀ li o rà wọn pada; o si gbe wọn, o si rù wọn ni gbogbo ọjọ igbani.
9 In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them: in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bare them, and carried them all the days of old.
10 Ṣugbọn nwọn ṣọ̀tẹ, nwọn si bi Ẹmi mimọ́ rẹ̀ ninu; nitorina li o ṣe pada di ọta wọn, on tikalarẹ̀ si ba wọn ja.
10 But they rebelled, and vexed his holy Spirit: therefore he was turned to be their enemy, and he fought against them.
11 Nigbana ni o ranti ọjọ atijọ, Mose, awọn enia rẹ̀, wipe, Nibo li ẹniti o mu wọn ti inu okun jade gbe wà, ti on ti olùṣọ agutan ọwọ́-ẹran rẹ̀? nibo li ẹniti o fi Ẹmi mimọ́ rẹ̀ sinu rẹ̀ gbe wà?
11 Then he remembered the days of old, Moses, and his people, saying, Where is he that brought them up out of the sea with the shepherd of his flock? where is he that put his holy Spirit within him?
12 Ti o fi ọwọ́ ọtun Mose dà wọn, pẹlu apá rẹ̀ ti o logo, ti o npin omi meji niwaju wọn, lati ṣe orukọ aiyeraiye fun ara rẹ̀?
12 That led them by the right hand of Moses with his glorious arm, dividing the water before them, to make himself an everlasting name?
13 Ti o mu wọn là ibú ja, bi ẹṣin li aginjù, ki nwọn ki o má ba kọsẹ?
13 That led them through the deep, as an horse in the wilderness, that they should not stumble?
14 Gẹgẹ bi ẹran ti isọ̀kalẹ lọ si afonifoji, bẹ̃ni Ẹmi Oluwa mu u simi: bẹ̃ni iwọ tọ́ awọn enia rẹ, lati ṣe orukọ ti o li ogo fun ara rẹ.
14 As a beast goeth down into the valley, the Spirit of the LORD caused him to rest: so didst thou lead thy people, to make thyself a glorious name.
15 Wò ilẹ lati ọrun wá, ki o si kiyesi lati ibugbe ìwa mimọ́ rẹ ati ogo rẹ wá: nibo ni itara rẹ ati agbara rẹ, ọ̀pọlọpọ iyanu rẹ, ati ãnu rẹ sọdọ mi gbe wà? a ha da wọn duro bi?
15 Look down from heaven, and behold from the habitation of thy holiness and of thy glory: where is thy zeal and thy strength, the sounding of thy bowels and of thy mercies toward me? are they restrained?
16 Doubtless thou art our father, though Abraham be ignorant of us, and Israel acknowledge us not: thou, O LORD, art our father, our redeemer; thy name is from everlasting.
17 Oluwa, nitori kili o ṣe mu wa ṣina kuro li ọ̀na rẹ, ti o si sọ ọkàn wa di lile kuro ninu ẹ̀ru rẹ? Yipada nitori awọn iranṣẹ rẹ, awọn ẹya ilẹ ini rẹ.
17 O LORD, why hast thou made us to err from thy ways, and hardened our heart from thy fear? Return for thy servants' sake, the tribes of thine inheritance.
18 Awọn enia mimọ́ rẹ ti ni i, ni igba diẹ: awọn ọta wa ti tẹ̀ ibi mimọ́ rẹ mọlẹ.
18 The people of thy holiness have possessed it but a little while: our adversaries have trodden down thy sanctuary.
19 Tirẹ li awa: lati lailai iwọ kò jọba lori wọn, a kò pè orukọ rẹ mọ wọn.
19 We are thine: thou never barest rule over them; they were not called by thy name.
