Isaiah 62

¹ I go speak out to encourage Jerusalem; I no go keep quiet until e don get salvation, and until her victory shine like touch for night.

² Jerusalem, nations go see una dey successful! All their kings go see una glory; dem go dey call una by new name, the name wey God give by himself.

³ Una go dey like beautiful crown for God.

⁴ Dem no go call una “people wey God leave” again,or call una land “The land wey God destroy”. Una new name go be “the people wey God love”. Dem go call una land “God bride”, because God dey happy with una and he go dey like husband to una land.

⁵ Like young man dey take virgin as him bride, him wey create una go marry una. As groom go dey happy with him bride, naso una God go dey happy with una.

⁶ Jerusalem, I don put guard for una wall; make dem no dey silent for day and night. Make dem dey remind God of him promise and make them no allow him forget them.

⁷ Make them no allow him rest until he restore Jerusalem and make am the city wey all the world dey praise.

⁸ God don make important promise, and he go use him power do am: “Una corn no go be food for una enemies again, and foreigners no go drink una wine again.

⁹ But una wey plant and harvest the corn go chop the bread and praise God. Na Una wey move and gather the grape go dring the wine for courts of my Temple.”

¹ People of Jerusalem, make una go out of the city and build road for una people wey dey return! Make una prepare highway; make una remove stones wey dey there! Make una put signal so that the nation go fit know.

¹ Say God dey announce to all earth: “Make una tell people of Jerusalem say God dey come save una, he dey bring the people wey he don rescue with him.”

¹ Dem go dey call una “Holy People of God”, “The people wey God don save”. Dem go dey call Jerusalem “The city wey God love”, “The city wey God no reject”.
