Hosea 2
1 Call una fellow Israelites "people of God" and "Loved by the Lord"
2 My children , beg your mother "though she no be my wife again, and I no be her husband again. Beg her make she stop her adultery and prostitution.
3 If she no stop am, I go naked am like the day wey dem born am. I go make am like land wey dry and barren, and she go die for thirst.
4-
5 I no go get mercy on top her children; dem be children of shameless prostitute. She even talk say ,I go go meet my lovers and dem go give me food and water, wool and linen, olive oil and wine.
6 I go fence her with thorns and bushes, I go build wall to block her way.
7 She go run go meet her lovers but no go see dem. And she go talk say, I dey go back to my first love- I better pass as I dey now.
8 She no go know say na me give her corn, wine, olive oil, and all the silver and gold wey she use worship for Baal.
9 And for harvest time I go collect my gift of corn, wine, wool, and all the linen wey I give am make cloth.
10 I go naked her for her lovers front, and nobody go fit save am from my power.
11 I go end all her festivities-her annual, monthly festivals and Sabbath celebrations " all her religious meetings.
12 I go destroy her grapevines and her fig trees, wey she talk say lovers give am for serving dem. I go make her vineyards and orchards wilderness; wild animals go destroy dem.
13 I go punish am for the time wey she don forget me, when she burn incense give Baal and the time wey she wear her jewelries go see her lovers. Na so God talk.
14 And I go take am go desert again; na there I go use love words win am.
15 I go return her vineyard and I go make trouble valley her door of hope, She go respond to me there as she do when she dey young, when she come from Egypt.
16 And again she go call me her husband "she no go call me her Baal again.
17 I no go allow am talk Baal again.
18 For that time I go make covenant with wilds animals and birds, so dem no go fit harm my people. I go take weapons of war comot for the land, plus all swords and bows and I go make my people live for peace and safety.
19 Israel, I go make you my wife; I go dey true and faithful; I go give you constant love and mercy and I go make you my own forever.
20 I go keep my promises and make you my own, and you go know say I be God.
21-
22 For that time I go answer the prayers of my people Israel. I go make rain fall for earth, and the earth go produce corn, grapes and olives.
23 I go establish my people for land and I go make dem prosper. I go love those wey dem call "Unloved", and those wey dem dey call "Not-my-people" I go say una be my people and dem go say, "You be our God".
