4 Dem come say, "come make we build a big city with tower wey go reach sky, e go make us famous and e no go make us scatter over the world.
5 God come look the city and tower wey dem dey build.
6 He say, "look, people dey united and dem dey speak the same language, nothing wey dem go wan do wey no go dey possible for them.
7 Come make we go down go confuse them with different languages, so that dem no go fit understand each other."
8 Naso God scatter them all over earth and dem stop to build the city.
9 Na why dem dey call the city "Babel" because na there God confuse people with different language. Naso He scatter them all over earth.
10 Na the account of Shem family be this. Two years after flood when Shem be 100 years, he born Arpachshhad.
11 After dem born Arpachshhad, Shem live for 500 years more and He get other sons and daughters.
12 When Arpachshhad reach
35 years, he born Shelah.
13 After dem born Shelah, Arpachshhad live for 400 years more and he get other sons and daughters.
14 When Shelah reach thirty years, he born Ebah.
15 After dem born Ebah, Shelah live for 403 years more and he get other sons and daughters.
16 When Ebah reach 34 years, he born Peleg.
17 After dem born Peleg, Ebah live for 430 years more and he get other sons and daughters.
18 When Peleg reach 30 years, he born Reu.
19 After dem born Reu, Peleg live for 209 years more and he get other sons and daughters.
20 When Reu reach 32 years, he born Serug.
21 After dem born Serug, Reu live for 207 years more and he get other sons and daughters.
22 When Serug reach 30 years, he born Nahor.
23 After dem born Nahor, Serug live for 200 years more and he get other sons and daughters.
24 When Nahor reach 29 years, he born Terah.
25 After dem born Terah, Nahor live for 119 years more and he get other sons and daughters.
26 After Terah reach 70 years, he born Abram, Nahor and Haran.
