Ezekiel 44

¹ The man take me back go outer courtyard, near east gate for temple area, I see say, door to this gate don close.

² And God tell say, "this gate go close and no go open again. No man go allow to use am, because I, the LORD God of Israel, don enter through am. Hin go remain close.

³ The ruling prince, however, go fit go there go chop holy meal for my presence. He go enter and commot for the gate way through the entrance room for inner end."

⁴ And the take me through the north gate go front of the Temple. As I look I see say, presence light of God don fill the Temple. I put my face down for ground,

⁵ And God, tell me say, "Son of man, pay attention to everything wey you see and hear. I go tell you rule and regulation for the Temple. Note carefully people wey suppose go in and out of the temple and which persons no suppose go in or ot.

⁶ "Tell those disobedient people of Israel say I, the Almighty God, no go tolerate disgusting things wey dem don dey do again.

⁷ Una don disgrace my Temple, because una don allow godless, suborn foreigner come here when una dey offer sacrifice to me. Una don sin and una don break our agreement.

⁸ Instead make una dey follow the proper way to dey worship me, una don foreigner in charge to dey worship for my Temple.

⁹ And so I, the LORD God, talk say, I no go allow godless foreigner wey no obey me enter my Temple, this include any foreigner wey dey live for Israel.

¹⁰ Some of the Levite turn against me any join other people of Israel to dey worship idol.

¹¹ Dem fit dey serve me for Temple by taking charge of gate and by performing work wey dey the Temple. Dem fit kill the animal wey people offer for burnt offering and for sacrifice, and dem must be on duty to dey serve people.

¹² But because dey don conduct worship of idols for people of Israel and dem lead people to dey sin this way, I, the Almighty God talk say, dem go be punished.

¹³ Make dem no serve me as priest or go near anything wey dey holy to me or enter most Holy place. This na the punishment for the disgusting thing wey dem don do.

¹⁴ But I go allow dem take care of the Temple. Dem go work for inside and do thin wey dem suppose do.

¹⁵ The Almighty God talk say, "Those priest belong to tribe of Levi wey descend from Zadok, however, continue to dey serve me faithfully for the temple when other people for Israel turn against me. So now na them suppose dey serve me and come my presence come offer me fat and blood of the sacrifice.

¹⁶ Na only dem go enter my Temple, serve for my alter, and go dey conduct the temple worship.

¹⁷ When dem enter the gateway wey go the inner room courtyard of the temple, make dem put on linen cloth. Make dem no wear anything wey dem use wool make when dem dey duty for inner courtyard or for the Temple,

¹⁸ Make dem wear linen turban and linen trouser, no belt, so dem no go sweat.

¹⁹ Before dem go outer courtyard where people dey, dem must commot the clothe wey dem wear for duty for temple and leave dem for holy room. Make dem wear other clothe so dem fit keep their holy cloth from harming people.

²⁰ "Make priest no shave their head nor make their hair grow long. Make dem keep am for proper length.

²¹ Make priest no drink any wine before he go come go the inner courtyard.

²² No priest fit marry divorce woman, na only Israel virgin make he marry or widow of other priest.

²³ "Priest suppose teach my people different wey dey between thing wey holy and thing wey no holy and things wey clean and things wey no clean.

²⁴ The priest go be judge for court, them go follow my law when dem dey judge people. Them go obey my law and rule for all special feast, dem go respect my special day and go keep am.

²⁵ "Priest no suppose become unclean by teaching dead body, unless na him parents, one of him children, brother, unmarried sister/

²⁶ After he don become unclean again, he must wait for seven days

²⁷ And go inner courtyard of Temple and offer sacrifice take purify himself, so that he go fit serve for Temple again. I, the Almighty God don speak.

²⁸ "The priests get priesthood as their share of wetin I don give Israel to carry give one generation to another, them no suppose get any property for Israel, na only me dem need/

²⁹ The grain offering, the sin offering and repayment offering go be priest food, and make dem receive anything from Israel wey dem set apart for me.

³⁰ Na the priest suppose get the best of all the first harvest and of everything else wey dem offer to me. Each time wey people bake bread, them suppose give the priest the loaf as offering, and my blessing go rest for their home.

³¹ Priest must not chop any bird or animal wey die natural death or other animal kill am.?
