Ezekiel 43

¹ The man take me back go east gate of the temple,

² Where I see the bright glory of God of Israel dey come from east, the sound wey I hear loud like ocean wave, and everything wey dey around dey shine with brightness of his glory.

³ This vision be like the one wey I get when God come destroy Jerusalem and be like the one wey I see near Chebar River. Immediately, I bow my face for ground,

⁴ And glory of God come through east gate and go the temple.

⁵ The spirit of God lift me up for my feet and carry me go inner courtyard, where I come say the glory of God don fill the temple.

⁶ The dey stand beside me, and I dey hear God dey talk from inside say.

⁷ Ezekiel, son of man, this temple na my throne on earth. I go live among people of Israel here forever. Dem and their kings no go dey disgrace me again by worshipping idols for local shrine or by setting up memorial for their kings wey don die.

⁸ Kings of Israel build their palace close to my holy temple wey be say na only wall separate them from me. And these kings come disgrace me with their evil way, and i use my anger take destroy them.

⁹ But if people and their kings stop to dey worship other god and tear those memory down, I go live among dem forever.

¹⁰ People of Israel must suffer shame, because dem don sin against me, so tell them about my holy temple, make dem think about am.

¹¹ Then if them truly sorry, describe the design and shape of the temple, the measurement, the gate, and how dem arrange the building give them, explain regulation of how to dey worship for there, and come write down this things, so dem fit read and obey them

¹² Una must dey keep temple area for my holy mountain holy! This na the most important law about the temple.

¹³ According to official standard, the alter wey dey the temple get the following measurement: gutter dey round the bottom of the alter wey be 50centimeter wide and 50centimetre deep, and with 25-certimer ledge for outer rim.

¹⁴ The alter rest on top base and get three section, each of them na square. The bottom section na 8meter for each side and dey one meter high.

¹⁵ The middle section na 7 meter for each side and e high for 2meter, and e get 25centimeter rim round for it outer edge.

¹⁶ The top section, Wey be 6 meter for each side and high for 2 meter, na place where dem dey burn sacrifice, and four corners for the top section be like horn of bull.

¹⁷ The step wey dey lead go alter dey the for the east side.

¹⁸ The Almighty God tell me say, "Son of man, listen to wetin I dey tell you, when una don finish to dey build the alter, make you dedicate am by burning sacrifice on top am and make you sprinkle blood of animal wey una use do sacrifice on top am.

¹⁹ I, the Almighty God, command you say, na those priest wey belong to tribe of Levi wey descend from Zadok be the only one wey go come my presence come serve me. You go give them young bull make them offer am as sacrifice for.

²⁰ Take some of the animal blood and put am for four corner of the alter, put some for corner of middle section, put some rim round of hin edge. na that go purify the alter and go make am holy place to dey offer sacrifice to me.

²¹ Carry the body of the bull commot go outside the temple area and burn am for special place

²² For the next day, make una offer goat wey no get anything wey wrong am for sin sacrifice. Purify the alter with hin blood, just as you don do with blood of bull.

²³ And then come choose a young bull, young ram wey no get problem

²⁴ And bring dem come my temple. The priest go sprinkle salt on top them and make una offer them as sacrifice take please me.

²⁵ Each day for next seven day, una must offer goat and bull and ram as sacrifice for sin. Make those animals no get problem.

²⁶ During those days, the priest go purify the alter, so that e go dey ready to use and so e go dey ready for use and I go fit accept am.

²⁷ And from then, priest go dey use this alter to offer sacrifice take please me and sacrifice take ask my blessing. Then I go be please with people of Israel. I, the Almighty God, don speak.
