Ezekiel 37

¹ Some times later, I feel power of God dey take control of me, and his spirit carry me go valley wey full of bones.

² God show me around and I see bone wey don dry for everywhere wey I look.

³ He talk say, "Ezekiel, son of man, say these bones fit come back to life?" I reply say, LORD God, na only you fit answer that."

⁴ He then tell me make I say: Dry bones, listen to wetin God dey tell una,

⁵ "I, the LORD God, go put breath in una, and una go live again.

⁶ I go wrap una with muscle and skin and breathe life into una. Then una go know say I be God."

⁷ I do wetin God talk say make I do, but before I finish to dey speak, I hear noise and the bone begin to dey come together!

⁸ I see muscle and skin dey cover the body but dem no get life inside of them.

⁹ God talk say: Ezekiel, now tell the wind say, "The LORD God command you say make you blow winds from all directions and make you breathe life to these dead bodies, so dem fit live again."

¹⁰ As I talk am finish, the wind blow among them and dem come back to life! All of dem stand up and dem plenty to make large army.

¹¹ God talk say: Ezekiel, people of Israel be like dead bone. Them complain say, dem don dry up and say dem no get hope for future.

¹² So tell them say, I, the LORD God, don promise una grave and set una free. I go bring una come back Israel,

¹³ and when that happen, una go realize say I be God.

¹⁴ My spirit go give breath to una, and una go live again. I go bring una come home and una go know say I don keep my promise. I, God, don speak.

¹⁵ God talk say:

¹⁶ Ezekiel, son of man, get stick make you right on top am, "The kingdom of Judah." And get another stick, make you write on top am, "The kingdom of Israel."

¹⁷ Hold these two from end to end, so them go look like one stick.

¹⁸ And when your people ask you say, wetin this mean,

¹⁹ Tell them say I, God, go join stick of Israel and stick of Judah together. I go hold them for my hand, and dem go become one.

²⁰ Hold these two sticks where everyone fit see you

²¹ and then talk say: I, the LORD God, go gather people of Israel and I go bring them come home from foreign nations wey dem dey live now.

²² I go make them one nation and I go make them live for land of Israel again. Na only one king go rule them, and dem no go divide as two nations again.

²³ Dem no go worship idols again and do anything wey make dem no dey acceptable to me. I go wash their sin away and make them clean, I go protect them from anything wey dey make dem unclean. Them go be my people and I go be their God.

²⁴ Their king go always dey come from family of my servant King David and go care for them like shepherd.

²⁵ People of Israel go faithfully obey my law. Them and their descendants go live in the land wey I give my servant Jacob, just as their ancestors don live.

²⁶ I don promise say I go bless people of Israel with unending peace. I go protect them and I go make them turn powerful nation. My Temple go stand for Israel all time,

²⁷ and I go live among my people and I go be their God.

²⁸ Every nation on earth go know say my temple dey Israel and say I don choose Israelites to be my people.
