Ezekiel 3

God tell me say, "Son of man, chop the paper: then go follow people of Israel talk."

² Naso I open my mouth, and he give me the paper make I chop.

³ He talk say, "Son of man, chop this paper wey I give you, make you fill your belle with am." I chop am, and e get sweet taste like honey.

⁴ Then God talk say, "Son of man, go meet the people of Israel make you tell dem wetin I tell you.

⁵ I no dey send you go country wey dey speak difficult language, na Israelites I dey send you to.

⁶ If I send you go great nation wey dey speak difficult language wey you no understand, dem go listen to you.

⁷ But no one out of people wey dey Israel go wan listen; dem no go even listen to me. All of them get strong head and stubborn.

⁸ And now I go make you dey stubborn and tough as dem be.

⁹ I go make you dey hard like rock and hard like diamond; no fear those people wey no dey obey."

¹⁰ God continue to dey talk say, "Son of man, pay close attention and remember everything wey I don tell you.

¹¹ Then, go tell your countrymen wey dey strange land and tell them wetin I, the Almighty God, dey say to them, whether dem pay attention to you or not."

¹² Then the spirit of God raise me up, and then I con hear behind me the loud roar voice wey talk say, "Praise the glory of God for heaven above!"

¹³ I hear the wings of the creatures dey beat together for air, and the noise of the wheel, e loud like earthquake.

¹⁴ The power of God come upon me with great force, and as him spirit carry me commot, I con feel sad and vex for my spirit.

¹⁵ So I come tell Abib beside River Chebar, where the captives dey live, and na seven days I stay for there, wetin I don see and hear don overcome me.

¹⁶ After the seven days don pass, God speak to me.

¹⁷ He talk say, "Son of man," "I dey make you watchman for nation of Israel. You go tell them the warning wey I don give you.

¹⁸ If I announce say evil person go die but you no warn am make he change him way so that he go fit save him life, he go die, still be sinner, and I go hold you responsible for his death.

¹⁹ If you warn evil man and he no stop to dey sin, he go die, still be sinner, but I go keep your life.

²⁰ "If a good person start to dey do evil and I con put am for dangerous situation, he go die if you no warn am. He go die because of him sin " I no go remember the good wey he don do " and I go hold you responsible for him death.

²¹ if you warn a good man say make he no sin and he listen to you and no sin, he go stay alive, and your life go dey safe too."

²² I come feel the powerful presence of God and I hear him talk to me say, "Get up and commot go the Valley. I go take you go there."

²³ So I commot go the valley, and for there I see the glory of God, just as I don see beside River Chebar. I con fall with my face for ground,

²⁴ but spirit of God enter me and raise me for my feet. God tell me say, "God home and go close yourself inside house.

²⁵ Son of man, dem go tie you with rope and you no go fit go out for public.

²⁶ I go paralyse your tongue, so that you no go fit warn these people wey no dey obey me.

²⁷ Then, when I speak to you again and I give back to you the power to talk, you go tell them wetin I, the Almighty God dey talk. Some of them go listen, but some no go gree listen, because dem be nation wey no dey obey."
