Exodus 8

¹ God tell Moses say, "Go back to Pharaoh and tell him say, "Na wetin God talk be this: Let my people go, so that dem fit worship me.

² If you no gree let them go, I go cover your country with frogs.

³ Nile river go dey full of frogs. Dem go come out of river and enter inside palace, even enter your bedroom and on top your bed! Dem go enter your servant and your people house. Dem go jump enter your oven, and your baking bowl.

⁴ Frog go jump on you, your people, and all your servant.""

⁵ God come tell Moses say, "Tell Aaron say, make he raise him walking stick over all river, canal, and pond wey dey Egypt, make dem bring frogs over the land."

⁶ Na so Aaron raise him walking stick over Egypt waters, and frogs begin dey jump up, and dem cover the whole land.

⁷ But the magicians use magic perform same thing. Dem use magic bring frog on top Egypt land.

⁸ Pharaoh come call on Moses and Aaron, and he beg them, "Help me beg God say make he take frogs away from my people. I go allow your people go, so dem fit go offer sacrifice to God."

⁹ Moses tell him say, "Set time, and give me time wey you want make I pray for you, your servant, and your people. Then frogs go commot from una house. Dem go dey inside the river only."

¹⁰ Pharaoh say, "do am tomorrow," Moses talk say, "No wahala, e go be as you don talk. Then you go know say no one else be like the LORD, our God.

¹¹ Frogs go leave you and your house, your servant, and your people. Dem go only remain inside Nile river.

¹² Naso Moses and Aaron leave Pharaoh palace, Moses come cry out to God about the frog wey him don use curse Pharaoh.

¹³ And God do wetin Moses don predict. The frog for house, for compound, and for field all of them die.

¹⁴ Dem park them together like heaps, and dem come full ground and everywhere dey smell.

¹⁵ When Pharaoh see say the frogs don die, e come dey stubborn again, and as God don talk am, Pharaoh no go listen to Moses and Aaron.

¹⁶ God tell Moses say, "Tell Aaron make he hit ground with him walking stick. The dust go turn insect for the whole land of Egypt.

¹⁷ Naso Moses and Aaron go do wetin the LORD command them. As Aaron raise him hand hit ground with him walking stick, insect come cover the land, e cover Egyptians and their animal. Every dust wey dey Egypt turn to insect.

¹⁸ Pharaoh magicians try say make dem do the same thing with their magic but e no work. Insect come cover everyone, people and animal the same way.

¹⁹ The magician come tell Pharaoh say, "Na the hand of God be this". But Pharaoh heart still dey hard. E no go listen to them, as the LORD don talk am.

²⁰ God come tell Moses say, "Get up for early morning make you go meet Pharaoh as he dey go river. Tell him say, "Na wetin GOD talk be this: Allow my people go, so that dem fit worship me.

²¹ If you no gree, I go send plenty flies for you, your servant, and una house. Egyptian house go dey full of flies, and dem go cover ground.

²² This time I no go touch Goshen, where my people dey live. Flies no go dey there. You go come know say na me be God, and I dey for heart of your land.

²³ I go make sure say difference dey between my people and your people. Na tomorrow the miracle go happen.

²⁴ God do wetin him talk. Thick and plenty flies come full Pharaoh palace and him servant house. Flies come cause trouble for Egypt land.

²⁵ Pharaoh come call for Moses and Aaron and he say, "Make una make sacrifice to una God for this country."

²⁶ Moses answer say, "E no be right thing to do. Egyptians no like as we dey sacrifice animal give the LORD our God. If we give sacrifice for where Egyptians fit see us, dem go stone us.

²⁷ We must enter inside desert for three days to go give our sacrifice to the LORD our God, just as he don command us.

²⁸ Pharaoh say, "Okay, make una go. I go allow una enter inside desert make una go give una God sacrifice. But, make una no go far. Now, go pray for me."

²⁹ Moses answer say, "As I dey leave here, I go pray to God, and the flies go disappear from you and your servant, and your people tomorrow. But I dey warn you, Pharaoh, no dey lie to us again, and no go deny my people to go sacrifice to God."

³⁰ Moses come leave Pharaoh palace, and he beg God say make he remove all flies.

³¹ Naso God do wetin Moses ask, he command the flies to leave Pharaoh, him servant, and him people. No fly remain. 32But Pharaoh still dey stubborn and he no allow the people go.
