Ecclesiastes 4
1 I con look again at all the injustice wey dey happen for this world. The people wey dem dey oppress dey cry, and nobody go help them. Nobody go help them, because their oppressors get power for their side.
2 I dey envy those wey don die and go; dem better pass those wey still dey alive.
3 But those wey die at birth better pass the two, wey never see the evil wey dey happen for this world.
4 I don also learn why people dey work hard to succeed: na because say dem envy their neighbors. But na vanity e be. Na like say person dey run after wind.
5 Dem go talk say anyone go be fool to fold him hands and allow hunger wire him to death.
6 E fit be so, but e better make person get small, with peace of mind, pass to dey busy every time with both hands, and dey try to catch wind.
7 I don notice something else in life wey dey useless.
8 E get a man wey dey live alone. He no get children, he no get brother, yet he dey always work, he no dey finish with the wealth wey he get. Who he dey work so hard for wey dey make him no allow himself enjoy the pleasure? This one too na vanity - and na stupid way to dey live.
9 Two better pass one, because dem fit work better.
10 If one of them fall down, the other one fit lift him up. But if person dey alone and fall, e dey too bad, because no one dey wey go help him.
11 If cold dey, two fit sleep together and stay warm, but how you fit keep warm by yourself?
12 Two fit fight against attack wey fit defeat one person alone. Rope wey get three cords dey hard to break.
13 Man fit rise from poverty to become king of him country, or he fit go from prison to throne,
14 But if he dey too foolish for him old age to take advice, he no better pass young man wey get brain, but still dey poor.
15 I think about all the people wey dey live for this world, and I con realize say somewhere among them e get a young man wey go take the king palace.
16 Plenty people fit dey wey the king go rule; when he don die, nobody go dey grateful for wetin he don do. Na vanity. E be like say person dey run after wind.
