2 The virgin of Israel don fall and no go rise again. She sleep alone for ground and nobody carry am stand up.
3 Almighty God talk say, "One city for Israel send one thousand soldiers go out, but na only hundred come back; another city send hundred out, but na only ten come back."
4 God tell people of Israel say, "Make una come to me and una go live.
5 Make una no go Beersheba go worship, make una try find me for Bethel " Bethel no go be anything. Make una no go Gilgal- dem go take the people away as prisoners and dem go destroy Beersheba.
6 Make una go to God, and una go live. If una no go, he go come down like fire on top people of Israel, the fire go burn people of Bethel, and no one go fit stop the fire.
7 Una don enter problem, una wey dey change justice, dey cheat people for their right!
8 Na God make the stars, the Pleiades and Onion. Na him dey turn darkness to daylight, day to night. He call for water wey dey sea pour dem for earth. Him name na God.
9 He bring destruction on top the mighty and their strongholds.
10 Una hate anyone wey challenge injustice and speak truth for court.
11 Una don oppress the poor and una don rob dem of their corn. And una dey live for fine stone houses wey una build or drink wine from the beautiful vineyards wey una plant.
12 I know how terrible una sins be and how many crimes una don commit. Una no like good people, collect bribes, and una no allow poor get justice for court.
13 So to dey keep quiet for that kind evil time na best thing to do!
14 Make am part of una way to dey do right thing and no be evil things, so that una go live, then the LORD God Almighty go dey with una as una talk say he be.
15 Make una hate evil, make una love right thing, and make una see say justice happen for court. So God go dey merciful to the people wey dey alive for this nation.
16 Naso the LORD God Almighty talk say, people go dey cry for public places. Dem go dey cry for streets. Dem go pay people to cry with dem.
17 God talk say, cry go dey for the vineyards. All this go happen because I dey come punish una."
18 How terrible e go be for una wey dey wait for the day of God! Which good that day go do una? E go be day of darkness and no be for light.
19 E go be like someone wey run from lion to meet bear for road! Or like person wey come home, put him hand for wall- and snake bite am!
20 The day of God go bring darkness and no be light; e go be day of darkness and no be brightness.
21 God talk say, I hate una religious festivals, I no fit stand them!
22 When una bring me burnt offering and corn offering, I no accept dem; I no go accept the fat animal wey una don bring for offering.
23 Make una stop una noisy songs, I no wan listen to una harps.
24 Instead make una allow justice to dey flow like stream. And righteousness like river wey no go dry.
25 "People of Israel, during those forty years wey I lead una through desert, I no ask for sacrifice and offering from una.
26 But now because una don worship the image of Sakkuth, una king god, and of Kaiwan, una star god, una go carry those images
