Read Titus 3
1 MÃ rán wọn leti lati mã tẹriba fun awọn ijoye, ati fun awọn alaṣẹ, lati mã gbọ́ ti wọn, ati lati mã mura si iṣẹ rere gbogbo,
1 Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work,
2 Ki nwọn má sọrọ ẹnikẹni ni ibi, ki nwọn má jẹ onija, bikoṣe ẹni pẹlẹ, ki nwọn mã fi ìwa tutù gbogbo han si gbogbo enia.
2 To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.
3 Nitori awa pẹlu ti jẹ were nigbakan rí, alaigbọran aṣako, ẹniti nsin onirũru ifẹkufẹ ati adùn aiye, a wà ninu arankàn ati ilara, a jẹ ẹni irira, a si nkorira awọn ọmọnikeji wa.
3 For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
4 Ṣugbọn nigbati ìṣeun Ọlọrun Olugbala wa ati ifẹ rẹ̀ si enia farahan,
4 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
5 Kì iṣe nipa iṣẹ ti awa ṣe ninu ododo ṣugbọn gẹgẹ bi ãnu rẹ̀ li o gbà wa là, nipa ìwẹnu atúnbi ati isọdi titun Ẹmí Mimọ́,
5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
6 Ti o dà si wa lori lọpọlọpọ nipasẹ Jesu Kristi Olugbala wa;
6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
7 Ki a le dá wa lare nipa ore-ọfẹ rẹ̀, ki a si le sọ wa di ajogún gẹgẹ bi ireti ìye ainipẹkun.
7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
8 This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.
9 Ṣugbọn yà kuro ni ìbẽre wère, ati ìtan iran, ati ijiyan, ati ija nipa ti ofin; nitoripe alailere ati asan ni nwọn.
9 But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.
10 Ẹniti o ba ṣe aladamọ̀ lẹhin ìkilọ ikini ati ekeji, kọ̀ ọ;
10 A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;
11 Ki o mọ̀ pe irú ẹni bẹ̃ ti yapa, o si ṣẹ̀, o dá ara rẹ̀ lẹbi.
11 Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.
12 Nigbati mo ba rán Artema si ọ, tabi Tikiku, yara tọ̀ mi wá ni Nikopoli: nitori ibẹ ni mo ti pinnu lati lo akoko otutu.
12 When I shall send Artemas unto thee, or Tychicus, be diligent to come unto me to Nicopolis: for I have determined there to winter.
13 Pese daradara fun Sena amofin ati Apollo li ọ̀na àjo wọn, ki ohunkohun maṣe kù wọn kù.
13 Bring Zenas the lawyer and Apollos on their journey diligently, that nothing be wanting unto them.
14 Ki awọn enia wa pẹlu si kọ́ lati mã ṣe iṣẹ rere fun ohun ti a kò le ṣe alaini, ki nwọn ki o má ba jẹ alaileso.
14 And let ours also learn to maintain good works for necessary uses, that they be not unfruitful.
15 Gbogbo awọn ti mbẹ lọdọ mi kí ọ. Kí awọn ti o fẹ wa ninu igbagbọ́. Ki ore-ọfẹ ki o wà pẹlu gbogbo nyin. Amin.
15 All that are with me salute thee. Greet them that love us in the faith. Grace be with you all. Amen.
