1 ṢUGBỌN ẹniti o ba ṣe ailera ni igbagbọ́ ẹ gbà a, li aitọpinpin iṣiyemeji rẹ̀.

1 Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations.

2 Ẹnikan gbagbọ́ pe on le mã jẹ ohun gbogbo: ẹlomiran ti o si ṣe alailera njẹ ewebẹ.

2 For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs.

3 Ki ẹniti njẹ máṣe kẹgan ẹniti kò jẹ; ki ẹniti kò si jẹ ki o máṣe dá ẹniti njẹ lẹjọ: nitori Ọlọrun ti gbà a.

3 Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.

4 Tani iwọ ti ndá ọmọ-ọdọ ẹlomĩ lẹjọ? loju oluwa rẹ̀ li o duro, tabi ti o ṣubu. Nitotọ a o si mu u duro: nitori Oluwa ni agbara lati mu u duro.

4 Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.

5 Ẹlomĩ mbuyìn fun ọjọ kan jù omiran lọ: ẹlomĩ mbuyìn fun ọjọ gbogbo bakanna. Ki olukuluku ki o da ara rẹ̀ loju ni inu ara rẹ̀.

5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.

6 Ẹniti o ba nkiyesi ọjọ, o nkiyesi i fun Oluwa; ẹniti kò ba si kiyesi ọjọ, fun Oluwa ni kò kiyesi i. Ẹniti njẹun, o njẹun fun Oluwa, nitori o ndupẹ lọwọ Ọlọrun; ẹniti kò ba si jẹun, fun Oluwa ni kò jẹun, o si ndupẹ lọwọ Ọlọrun.

6 He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks.

7 Nitori kò si ẹnikan ninu wa ti o wà lãye fun ara rẹ̀, kò si si ẹniti o nkú fun ara rẹ̀.

7 For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.

8 Nitori bi a ba wà lãye, awa wà lãye fun Oluwa; bi a ba si kú, awa kú fun Oluwa: nitorina bi a wà lãye, tabi bi a kú ni, ti Oluwa li awa iṣe.

8 For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.

9 Nitori idi eyi na ni Kristi ṣe kú, ti o si tún yè, ki o le jẹ Oluwa ati okú ati alãye.

9 For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.

10 Ṣugbọn ẽṣe ti iwọ fi nda arakunrin rẹ lẹjọ? tabi ẽsitiṣe ti iwọ fi nkẹgan arakunrin rẹ? gbogbo wa ni yio sá duro niwaju itẹ́ idajọ Kristi.

10 But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.

11 Nitori a ti kọ ọ pe, Oluwa wipe, Bi emi ti wà, gbogbo ẽkún ni yio kunlẹ fun mi, ati gbogbo ahọn ni yio si jẹwọ fun Ọlọrun.

11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

12 Njẹ nitorina, olukuluku wa ni yio jihin ara rẹ̀ fun Ọlọrun.

12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.

13 Nitorina ẹ máṣe jẹ ki a tun mã da ara wa lẹjọ mọ́: ṣugbọn ẹ kuku mã ṣe idajọ eyi, ki ẹnikẹni máṣe fi ohun ikọsẹ tabi ohun idugbolu si ọ̀na arakunrin rẹ̀.

13 Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.

14 Mo mọ̀, o si dá mi loju ninu Jesu Oluwa pe, kò si ohun ti o ṣe aimọ́ fun ara rẹ̀: ṣugbọn ẹniti o ba kà ohunkohun si aimọ́, on li o ṣe aimọ́ fun.

14 I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean.

15 Ṣugbọn bi inu arakunrin rẹ ba bajẹ nitori onjẹ rẹ, njẹ iwọ kò rìn ninu ifẹ mọ́. Ẹniti Kristi kú fun, máṣe fi onjẹ rẹ pa a kúgbe.

15 But if thy brother be grieved with thy meat, now walkest thou not charitably. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died.

16 Njẹ ẹ máṣe jẹ ki a mã sọ̀rọ ire nyin ni buburu.

16 Let not then your good be evil spoken of:

17 Nitori ijọba Ọlọrun kì iṣe jijẹ ati mimu; bikoṣe ododo, ati alafia, ati ayọ̀ ninu Ẹmí Mimọ́.

17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

18 Nitori ẹniti o ba nsìn Kristi ninu nkan wọnyi, li o ṣe itẹwọgbà lọdọ Ọlọrun, ti o si ni iyin lọdọ enia.

18 For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men.

19 Njẹ nitorina, ki awa ki o mã lepa ohun ti iṣe ti alafia, ati ohun ti awa o fi gbe ara wa ró.

19 Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.

20 Nitori onjẹ máṣe bi iṣẹ Ọlọrun ṣubu. Ohun gbogbo li o mọ́ nitõtọ; ṣugbọn ibi ni fun oluwarẹ̀ na ti o njẹun lọna ikọsẹ.

20 For meat destroy not the work of God. All things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eateth with offence.

21 O dara ki a má tilẹ jẹ ẹran, ki a má mu waini, ati ohun kan nipa eyi ti arakunrin rẹ yio kọsẹ, ati ti a o si fi sọ ọ di alailera.

21 It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak.

22 Iwọ ní igbagbọ́ bi? ní i fun ara rẹ niwaju Ọlọrun. Alabukun-fun ni oluwarẹ̀ na ti ko da ara rẹ̀ lẹbi ninu ohun ti o yàn.

22 Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth.

23 Ṣugbọn ẹniti o ba nṣiyemeji, o jẹbi bi o ba jẹ, nitoriti kò ti inu igbagbọ́ wá: ati ohunkohun ti kò ti inu igbagbọ wá, ẹṣẹ ni.

23 And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.
