¹ EMI o ma kọrin ãnu Oluwa lailai: ẹnu mi li emi o ma fi fi otitọ rẹ hàn lati irandiran.

¹ I will sing of the mercies of the LORD for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations.

² Nitori ti emi ti wipe, A o gbé ãnu ró soke lailai: otitọ rẹ ni iwọ o gbé kalẹ li ọrun.

² For I have said, Mercy shall be built up for ever: thy faithfulness shalt thou establish in the very heavens.

³ Emi ti bá ayànfẹ mi da majẹmu, emi ti bura fun Dafidi, iranṣẹ mi,

³ I have made a covenant with my chosen, I have sworn unto David my servant,

⁴ Irú-ọmọ rẹ li emi o gbé kalẹ lailai, emi o si ma gbé itẹ́ rẹ ró lati irandiran,

⁴ Thy seed will I establish for ever, and build up thy throne to all generations. Selah.

⁵ Ọrun yio si ma yìn iṣẹ-iyanu rẹ, Oluwa, otitọ rẹ pẹlu ninu ijọ enia mimọ́ rẹ.

⁵ And the heavens shall praise thy wonders, O LORD: thy faithfulness also in the congregation of the saints.

⁶ Nitori pe, tali o wà li ọrun ti a le fi wé Oluwa? tani ninu awọn ọmọ alagbara, ti a le fi wé Oluwa?

⁶ For who in the heaven can be compared unto the LORD? who among the sons of the mighty can be likened unto the LORD?

⁷ Ọlọrun li o ni ìbẹru gidigidi ni ijọ enia mimọ́, o si ni ibuyìn-fun lati ọdọ gbogbo awọn ti o yi i ká.

⁷ God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence of all them that are about him.

⁸ Oluwa, Ọlọrun awọn ọmọ-ogun, tani Oluwa alagbara bi iwọ? tabi bi otitọ rẹ ti o yi ọ ká.

⁸ O LORD God of hosts, who is a strong LORD like unto thee? or to thy faithfulness round about thee?

⁹ Iwọ li o jọba ibinu okun; nigbati riru omi rẹ̀ dide, iwọ mu u pa rọrọ.

⁹ Thou rulest the raging of the sea: when the waves thereof arise, thou stillest them.

¹⁰ Iwọ li o ti ya Rahabu pẹrẹ-pẹrẹ bi ẹniti a pa; iwọ ti fi apa ọwọ́ agbara rẹ tú awọn ọtá rẹ ká.

¹⁰ Thou hast broken Rahab in pieces, as one that is slain; thou hast scattered thine enemies with thy strong arm.

¹¹ Ọrun ni tirẹ, aiye pẹlu ni tirẹ: aiye ati ẹ̀kun rẹ̀, iwọ li o ti ṣe ipilẹ wọn.

¹¹ The heavens are thine, the earth also is thine: as for the world and the fulness thereof, thou hast founded them.

¹² Ariwa ati gusù iwọ li o ti da wọn: Taboru ati Hermoni yio ma yọ̀ li orukọ rẹ.

¹² The north and the south thou hast created them: Tabor and Hermon shall rejoice in thy name.

¹³ Iwọ ni apá agbara: agbara li ọwọ́ rẹ, giga li ọwọ ọtún rẹ.

¹³ Thou hast a mighty arm: strong is thy hand, and high is thy right hand.

¹⁴ Otitọ ati idajọ ni ibujoko itẹ́ rẹ: ãnu ati otitọ ni yio ma lọ siwaju rẹ.

¹⁴ Justice and judgment are the habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face.

¹⁵ Ibukún ni fun awọn enia ti o mọ̀ ohùn ayọ̀ nì: Oluwa, nwọn o ma rìn ni imọlẹ oju rẹ.

¹⁵ Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O LORD, in the light of thy countenance.

¹⁶ Li orukọ rẹ ni nwọn o ma yọ̀ li ọjọ gbogbo: ati ninu ododo rẹ li a o ma gbé wọn leke.

¹⁶ In thy name shall they rejoice all the day: and in thy righteousness shall they be exalted.

¹⁷ Nitori iwọ li ogo agbara wọn: ati ninu ore ojurere rẹ li a o gbé iwo wa soke,

¹⁷ For thou art the glory of their strength: and in thy favour our horn shall be exalted.

¹⁸ Nitori Oluwa li asà wa: Ẹni-Mimọ́ Israeli li ọba wa.

¹⁸ For the LORD is our defence; and the Holy One of Israel is our king.

¹⁹ Nigbana ni iwọ sọ li oju iran fun ayanfẹ rẹ, o si wipe, Emi ti gbé iranlọwọ ru ẹni-alagbara; emi ti gbé ẹnikan leke ti a yàn ninu awọn enia.

¹⁹ Then thou spakest in vision to thy holy one, and saidst, I have laid help upon one that is mighty; I have exalted one chosen out of the people.

²⁰ Emi ti ri Dafidi, iranṣẹ mi; ororo mi mimọ́ ni mo ta si i li ori:

²⁰ I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him:

²¹ Nipasẹ ẹniti a o fi ọwọ mi mulẹ: apá mi pẹlu yio ma mu u li ara le.

²¹ With whom my hand shall be established: mine arm also shall strengthen him.

²² Ọtá kì yio bère lọdọ rẹ̀; bẹ̃ni awọn ọmọ iwà-buburu kì yio pọ́n ọ loju.

²² The enemy shall not exact upon him; nor the son of wickedness afflict him.

²³ Emi o si lu awọn ọta rẹ̀ bolẹ niwaju rẹ̀, emi o si yọ awọn ti o korira rẹ̀ lẹnu.

²³ And I will beat down his foes before his face, and plague them that hate him.

²⁴ Ṣugbọn otitọ mi ati ãnu mi yio wà pẹlu rẹ̀; ati li orukọ mi li a o gbé iwo rẹ̀ soke.

²⁴ But my faithfulness and my mercy shall be with him: and in my name shall his horn be exalted.

²⁵ Emi o gbé ọwọ rẹ̀ le okun, ati ọwọ ọtún rẹ̀ le odò nla nì.

²⁵ I will set his hand also in the sea, and his right hand in the rivers.

²⁶ On o kigbe pè mi pe, Iwọ ni baba mi, Ọlọrun mi, ati apata igbala mi.

²⁶ He shall cry unto me, Thou art my father, my God, and the rock of my salvation.

²⁷ Emi o si ṣe e li akọbi, Ẹni-giga jù awọn ọba aiye lọ.

²⁷ Also I will make him my firstborn, higher than the kings of the earth.

²⁸ Ãnu mi li emi o pamọ́ fun u lailai, ati majẹmu mi yio si ba a duro ṣinṣin.

²⁸ My mercy will I keep for him for evermore, and my covenant shall stand fast with him.

²⁹ Irú-ọmọ rẹ̀ pẹlu li emi o mu pẹ titi, ati itẹ́ rẹ̀ bi ọjọ ọrun.

²⁹ His seed also will I make to endure for ever, and his throne as the days of heaven.

³⁰ Bi awọn ọmọ rẹ̀ ba kọ̀ ofin mi silẹ, ti nwọn kò si rìn nipa idajọ mi;

³⁰ If his children forsake my law, and walk not in my judgments;

³¹ Bi nwọn ba bá ilana mi jẹ, ti nwọn kò si pa ofin mi mọ́,

³¹ If they break my statutes, and keep not my commandments;

³² Nigbana li emi o fi ọgọ bẹ irekọja wọn wò, ati ẹ̀ṣẹ wọn pẹlu ìna.

³² Then will I visit their transgression with the rod, and their iniquity with stripes.

³³ Ṣugbọn iṣeun-ifẹ mi li emi kì yio gbà lọwọ rẹ̀, bẹ̃li emi kì yio jẹ ki otitọ mi ki o yẹ̀.

³³ Nevertheless my lovingkindness will I not utterly take from him, nor suffer my faithfulness to fail.

³⁴ Majẹmu mi li emi kì yio dà, bẹ̃li emi kì yio yi ohun ti o ti ète mi jade pada.

³⁴ My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.

³⁵ Lẹrinkan ni mo ti fi ìwa-mimọ́ mi bura pe, emi kì yio purọ fun Dafidi.

³⁵ Once have I sworn by my holiness that I will not lie unto David.

³⁶ Iru-ọmọ rẹ̀ yio duro titi lailai, ati itẹ́ rẹ̀ bi õrun niwaju mi.

³⁶ His seed shall endure forever, and his throne as the sun before me.

³⁷ A o fi idi rẹ̀ mulẹ lailai bi òṣupa, ati bi ẹlẹri otitọ li ọrun.

³⁷ It shall be established for ever as the moon, and as a faithful witness in heaven. Selah.

³⁸ Ṣugbọn iwọ ti ṣa tì, iwọ si korira, iwọ ti binu si Ẹni-ororo rẹ.

³⁸ But thou hast cast off and abhorred, thou hast been wroth with thine anointed.

³⁹ Iwọ ti sọ majẹmu iranṣẹ rẹ di ofo: iwọ ti sọ ade rẹ̀ si ilẹ.

³⁹ Thou hast made void the covenant of thy servant: thou hast profaned his crown by casting it to the ground.

⁴⁰ Iwọ ti fa ọgba rẹ̀ gbogbo ya: iwọ ti mu ilu-olodi rẹ̀ di ahoro.

⁴⁰ Thou hast broken down all his hedges; thou hast brought his strong holds to ruin.

⁴¹ Gbogbo awọn ti nkọja lọ li ọ̀na nfi ṣe ijẹ: on si di ẹ̀gan fun awọn aladugbo rẹ̀.

⁴¹ All that pass by the way spoil him: he is a reproach to his neighbours.

⁴² Iwọ ti gbé ọwọ ọtún awọn ọta rẹ̀ soke; iwọ mu gbogbo awọn ọta rẹ̀ yọ̀.

⁴² Thou hast set up the right hand of his adversaries; thou hast made all his enemies to rejoice.

⁴³ Iwọ si ti yi oju idà rẹ̀ pada pẹlu, iwọ kò si mu u duro li oju ogun.

⁴³ Thou hast also turned the edge of his sword, and hast not made him to stand in the battle.

⁴⁴ Iwọ ti mu ogo rẹ̀ tẹ́, iwọ si wọ́ itẹ́ rẹ̀ silẹ-yilẹ.

⁴⁴ Thou hast made his glory to cease, and cast his throne down to the ground.

⁴⁵ Ọjọ ewe rẹ̀ ni iwọ ke kuru; iwọ fi itìju bò o.

⁴⁵ The days of his youth hast thou shortened: thou hast covered him with shame. Selah.

⁴⁶ Yio ti pẹ to, Oluwa? iwọ o pa ara rẹ mọ́ lailai? ibinu rẹ yio ha jo bi iná bi?

⁴⁶ How long, LORD? wilt thou hide thyself for ever? shall thy wrath burn like fire?

⁴⁷ Ranti bi ọjọ mi ti kuru to; ẽse ti iwọ ha da gbogbo enia lasan?

⁴⁷ Remember how short my time is: wherefore hast thou made all men in vain?

⁴⁸ Ọkunrin wo li o wà lãye, ti kì yio ri ikú? ti yio gbà ọkàn rẹ̀ lọwọ isa-okú.

⁴⁸ What man is he that liveth, and shall not see death? shall he deliver his soul from the hand of the grave? Selah.

⁴⁹ Oluwa, nibo ni iṣeun-ifẹ rẹ atijọ wà, ti iwọ bura fun Dafidi ninu otitọ rẹ?

⁴⁹ Lord, where are thy former lovingkindnesses, which thou swarest unto David in thy truth?

⁵⁰ Oluwa, ranti ẹ̀gan awọn iranṣẹ rẹ, ti emi nrù li aiya mi lati ọdọ gbogbo ọ̀pọ enia.

⁵⁰ Remember, Lord, the reproach of thy servants; how I do bear in my bosom the reproach of all the mighty people;

⁵¹ Ti awọn ọta rẹ fi kẹgàn, Oluwa: ti nwọn fi ngàn ipasẹ Ẹni-ororo rẹ.

⁵¹ Wherewith thine enemies have reproached, O LORD; wherewith they have reproached the footsteps of thine anointed.

⁵² Olubukún ni Oluwa si i titi lailai. Amin ati Amin.

⁵² Blessed be the LORD for evermore. Amen, and Amen.
