1 EMI fi ohùn mi kigbe si Ọlọrun, ani si Ọlọrun ni mo fi ohùn mi kepè; o si fi eti si mi.

1 I cried unto God with my voice, even unto God with my voice; and he gave ear unto me.

2 Li ọjọ ipọnju mi emi ṣe afẹri Ọlọrun: ọwọ mi nnà li oru, kò si rẹ̀ silẹ: ọkàn mi kọ̀ ati tù ninu.

2 In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord: my sore ran in the night, and ceased not: my soul refused to be comforted.

3 Emi ranti Ọlọrun, emi kẹdun: emi ṣe aroye, ẹmi mi si rẹ̀wẹsi.

3 I remembered God, and was troubled: I complained, and my spirit was overwhelmed. Selah.

4 Iwọ kò fẹ ki emi ki o fi oju ba orun: ẹnu yọ mi tobẹ̃ ti emi kò le sọ̀rọ.

4 Thou holdest mine eyes waking: I am so troubled that I cannot speak.

5 Emi ti nrò ọjọ atijọ, ọdun igbani.

5 I have considered the days of old, the years of ancient times.

6 Mo ranti orin mi li oru: emi mba aiya mi sọ̀rọ: ọkàn mi si nṣe awari jọjọ.

6 I call to remembrance my song in the night: I commune with mine own heart: and my spirit made diligent search.

7 Oluwa yio ha ṣa ni tì lailai? kì o si ṣe oju rere mọ́?

7 Will the Lord cast off for ever? and will he be favourable no more?

8 Anu rẹ̀ ha lọ lailai? ileri rẹ̀ ha yẹ̀ titi lai?

8 Is his mercy clean gone for ever? doth his promise fail for evermore?

9 Ọlọrun ha gbagbe lati ṣe oju rere? ninu ibinu rẹ̀ o ha sé irọnu ãnu rẹ̀ mọ́?

9 Hath God forgotten to be gracious? hath he in anger shut up his tender mercies? Selah.

10 Emi wipe, Eyi li ailera mi! eyi li ọdun ọwọ ọtún Ọga-ogo!

10 And I said, This is my infirmity: but I will remember the years of the right hand of the most High.

11 Emi o ranti iṣẹ Oluwa: nitõtọ emi o ranti iṣẹ iyanu rẹ atijọ.

11 I will remember the works of the LORD: surely I will remember thy wonders of old.

12 Ṣugbọn emi o ma ṣe àṣaro gbogbo iṣẹ rẹ pẹlu, emi o si ma sọ̀rọ iṣẹ rẹ.

12 I will meditate also of all thy work, and talk of thy doings.

13 Ọlọrun, ọ̀na rẹ mbẹ ninu ìwa-mimọ́: tali alagbara ti o tobi bi Ọlọrun?

13 Thy way, O God, is in the sanctuary: who is so great a God as our God?

14 Iwọ li Alagbara ti nṣe iṣẹ iyanu: iwọ li o ti fi ipá rẹ hàn ninu awọn enia.

14 Thou art the God that doest wonders: thou hast declared thy strength among the people.

15 Iwọ li o ti fi apá rẹ rà awọn enia rẹ pada, awọn ọmọ Jakobu ati Josefu.

15 Thou hast with thine arm redeemed thy people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah.

16 Omi ri ọ, Ọlọrun, omi ri ọ, ẹ̀ru bà wọn: nitõtọ ara ibú kò balẹ.

16 The waters saw thee, O God, the waters saw thee; they were afraid: the depths also were troubled.

17 Awọsanma dà omi silẹ: ojusanma rán iró jade: ọfà rẹ jade lọ pẹlu.

17 The clouds poured out water: the skies sent out a sound: thine arrows also went abroad.

18 Ohùn ãrá rẹ nsan li ọrun: manamana nkọ si aiye, ilẹ nwa-rìri, o si mì.

18 The voice of thy thunder was in the heaven: the lightnings lightened the world: the earth trembled and shook.

19 Ọ̀na rẹ mbẹ li okun, ati ipa rẹ ninu awọn omi nla, ipasẹ rẹ li a kò si mọ̀.

19 Thy way is in the sea, and thy path in the great waters, and thy footsteps are not known.

20 Iwọ dà awọn enia rẹ bi ọ̀wọ-ẹran nipa ọwọ Mose ati Aaroni.

20 Thou leddest thy people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron.
