Psalms 53 - Listen Online

¹ AṢIWERE wi li ọkàn rẹ̀ pe, Ọlọrun kò si. Nwọn bajẹ nwọn si nṣe irira ẹ̀ṣẹ: kò si ẹniti o nṣe rere.

¹ The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.

² Ọlọrun bojuwo ilẹ lati ọrun wá sara awọn ọmọ enia, lati wò bi ẹnikan wà ti oye ye, ti o si nwá Ọlọrun.

² God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God.

³ Gbogbo wọn li o si pada sẹhin, nwọn si di elẽri patapata: kò si ẹniti nṣe rere, kò si ẹnikan.

³ Every one of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

⁴ Awọn ti nṣiṣẹ ẹ̀ṣẹ ko ha ni ìmọ? awọn ẹniti njẹ enia mi bi ẹni jẹun: nwọn kò si kepe Ọlọrun.

⁴ Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread: they have not called upon God.

⁵ Nibẹ ni nwọn gbe wà ni ibẹ̀ru nla nibiti ẹ̀ru kò gbe si: nitori Ọlọrun ti fún egungun awọn ti o dótì ọ ka: iwọ ti dojutì wọn, nitori Ọlọrun ti kẹgàn wọn.

⁵ There were they in great fear, where no fear was: for God hath scattered the bones of him that encampeth against thee: thou hast put them to shame, because God hath despised them.

⁶ Tani yio fi igbala fun Israeli lati Sioni jade wá? Nigbati Ọlọrun ba mu igbekun awọn enia rẹ̀ pada wá, Jakobu yio yọ̀, inu Israeli yio si dùn.

⁶ Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! When God bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.
